Have listed a few more bits on fb00k this week - only hadΒ
enquiries about 1 thing - which was listed as free - and they haven't turned up to collect it yet - they were meant to come on Saturday.... Bids on 1 item on flebay for over Β£50 with over a dozen watchersAnother bag for CS filled up - will drop them in next week. A bag filled with clothes for recycling with HnM - mainly from DS1. Quite a bit of rubbish and recycling from DS2s room. Small steps - but in the right direction. Some of the flebay and fb00k things will go to Cs next week if unsold. - they're really not listed for that much, and having them gone is a better solution - plus of the CS sell them under DH's gift aid then that can go against his tax return next year, so still a financial benefit to us

Still wide awake at nearly 2am....pesky steroids!! π€£ππI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 Β£124616 01/11 Β£89873 01/13 Β£52546 01/15 Β£12133 07/15 Β£NILNet sales 2024: Β£206 -
Oof! That ended up being a totally sleepless night! I'm feeling it now - but have just taken another (smaller) dose of steroids - so expect I shall perk up soon. I *do* aim to have a nap today, though - although hopefully only a couple of hours maximum to try and get some sleep tonight (I usually average 4- 4.5hours per night whilst on steroids)
Today's plans other than a nap: cleaner os coming at 9, so will aim to keep out of their way. Need to post a RM survey item after midday, so may take a walk to post box (usually a 25 min round trip when I'm fit) May also do a bit of asmin (paperwork filing etc) and need to process the last tub of cherries from the tree for the freezer. And I have a new (library) book to continue reading - I started it in the wee small hours. Anything over and above that list will be a bonus ππI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 Β£124616 01/11 Β£89873 01/13 Β£52546 01/15 Β£12133 07/15 Β£NILNet sales 2024: Β£208 -
You are doing really well to have a list!Β The cherries sound lovely.Β Can't grow cherries here, the wind kills all fruit trees unfortunately.Β I am just jealous!!What I do not give, you must never take by force.

The cherries π are gorgeous - I haven't dealt with them yet - but I have done lots of admin(some filing, lots of recycling (Inc a big pile of cancer booklets/ leaflets) and some shredding and sending off of some emails) Also one load of laundry is done and out on the line and I've had 1h 40m napπ΄. Bins ha e been brought back up the drive and I've already managed to put something in each one of them! βΊππ€£
Β I also haven't been to the post box - it's too warm out there for me at the mo (need to wear a hat and long sleeves - this one potentially makes skin super sun-sensitive (and I already get polymorphous light eruption even before this year)) so may do that later when it has cooled right down. Plus I'm coming down from the steroids so am super grumpy and dehydrated -currently working my way through a litre of liquid π§ to try and combat that!Β I also look sunburned on my face - steroids make me very flushed - I go around very red for a few days and then it turns sort of orangey for 2-3 more - it's not an attractive look! π€£π€£
No idea what people are eating for dinner tonight - they can fend for themselves - I'm thinking I shall have crumpets and crunchy nut cornflakes - not at all healthy, but I love carbs when on steroids - and they dampen down nausea in a much nicer way than the extra meds (which cause grim gastric effects....)
I see a heatwave is predicted for the next few days - possibly to the extent that it will be too warm for anyone to get out and continue painting the back garden fencing. A bbq sounds like a plan, though π (I think about food a lot, anyway - but even more so during chemo! π€£)
Ooh - and the cleaner finished early today, so rather than ask if there was anything extra I wanted doing they charged me less - I don't mind - it's not too bad where I've had a break from treatment - so I paid the extra into the slush fundπ²πΆ

Not a huge crumpet fan - but loved them with butter and honey as a child. Crunchy nut cornflakes are tasty straight out the box but don't get the idea of wetting them with milk... Now cherries... are gorgeous.
