Been a few days. Financially another £7.20 from prolific + daily payment. All going in the right direction 😃

fFitness wise, I ran the great west run on Sunday in the heat. 2hrs27. Nowhere near my best, but I was young and thinner then! It has inspired me to try and restart my weight loss. I’m fairly fit, I just need to shed some pounds! So, currently 11st 2, I’m going to give myself a reward first when I hit 10st 7…should be about 9 and a half according to my height!

Right, need to do washing up and work 😁

  • Well done on the run! Especially as the weather was so hot!

CC below £1000! On the right route. Another busy day today. Off on holiday on Monday for 5 days, can't wait to just leave everything behind!

Plodding on as normal, daily payment done. Nothing extra! I'll keep focused 🙂

Thanks LMD. Hope all is well with you.

I'm getting bored of my 12 hr days now. I'm tired. But this first set of marking will be done mid June and I'll reap the rewards in June and July, then second set will be end of June and payment in August so will spread nicely during the summer, and hopefully allow me to pay CC off by August at latest. I'm just tired! But exams will be over soon which means things relax at work so hopefully have a bit of breathing time and my little holiday next week will give me a chance to relax. Just got to keep working until Monday!

It will all be worth it I'm sure but don't let it impact your mental health, that's a slippery slope. I'm certain your holiday next week will be just what you need to re-set :)

Hey all. I'm back from my holiday and had a lovely time not even thinking about money or work! And didn't overspend too much 😊 just what I needed.

Back into the thick of it now. KS2 marking nearly complete, GCSE exams this week and next, then I'll be GCSE and Alevel marking for two weeks before breathing! But loving this sunshine and I'll receive first marking payment middle of this month 😀

    Off to patchwork now!

It's been a busy few days with my car giving up on me. Lots of chugging and lack of power. Took it to garage and he said if it's what he thinks it is, I'll probably be looking at £180, so a big chunk of my marking money will be gone 🤦 I was hoping to put it all on my CC. Other half had interview today which was unsuccessful. He'll be out of work in September as his contract ends. I'm sure he'll find something, but it's a worry. Every time a plan is coming together, something gets in the way. Oh well. Staying positive, carrying on popping money on CC and hopefully car will come out of emergency fund!
