So far today has been constructive - it looks like it might rain outside so I have put office back together and cleaned all the furniture. Now going through a cupboard of who knows what that my partner just dumped old duvet and sheets in etc. So off to the tip for me later I think!
Booked a meeting with mortgage advisor for next week - need to remortgage as my fixed has run out.
Transferred another £8.01 to CC to round account. I was looking at the balance - £2650. I have paid 46% of it off since January. Quite proud of that. I am going to aim to clear it by the end of the year... that is 165 days. Which means I need to pay off about £16 a day.... doesn't sound so bad when I think of it like that. Expecting my marking money to allow me to pay a nice chunk off. So... make £16 a day.... as much as I can! Prolific here I come. And vinted, and ebay and facebook!
Right, off to sort awful cupboard...wish me luck!Debt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)- DFD: September 1st 2023[/b]

So, I’m having a bit of a wobble today. After my positivity yesterday, the journey seems so long again today! Im fed up of constantly thinking about money, I’m fed up of worrying that things are getting more expensive when my wages aren’t going up. I’m supposed to be on leave this week and have spent all week decorating and moving furniture. I’m exhausted 🥱 so today I have decided to make some time for me. Gym class this morning, followed by cuppa. Wandering into town to get some nice fabric for a sewing day with my mum next week - I’ll look at discount ones. Trip to the bank, then I’m going to treat myself to some new pants 😂 before home to relax with my feet up, book and/or crochet this afternoon. I need to sort myself a budget but don’t know where to start, my income is so higgledy piggledy!Debt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)

We all have these moments @bigbeff, believe me! Just popping in to give you moral support, you've paid a 1/3 of your debt in 6 months. That's amazing!!
I can understand your wobble, it seems like you get ahead only for increased costs and not getting the same in wages to cover it.
Enjoy your 'me' time today, refresh and recharge then when you're in a better head space you can take a look at the budget.

In true money saving fashion, I went online before popping into town and one of my favourite running legging websites had a lucky dip on underwear, 3 pairs for £10.. now I love their leggings, such groovy patterns and reviews were good on knickers - who knows what patterns I’ll get. But to make it even better, I had a £10 voucher I’d got through loyalty points, so three pairs of knickers on their way to me for only the cost of postage!Debt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)

All good with me, ticking away nicely and not spending too much - except for car MOT and service £230 - but because I have been on top of finances this year I had this in my separate car pot account
So feeling quite virtuous!
CC is going down - another £83 odd to pay off and I'll have the same amount available as I have left as a balance - first time its been like that in years. I'm going to pay that when I get paid tomorrow! Completed another prolific study this morning and now sat at work pretending to be constructive while planning my next money making schemeDebt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)- DFD: September 1st 2023[/b]
