For some cheaper recipes you can't beat Jack Monroe's website - www.coookingonabootstrap.com - loads of cheap recipes mainly vegan now but some of the earlier recipes included meat.  One recipe of hers which I use regularly is mixed bean goulash which just uses a tin of mixed beans, a tin of chopped tomatoes, loads of paprika, an onion and garlic.

I quite like her bean burgers but unfortunately DH doesn't like them so I don't bother any more as I refuse to cook different meals for us both!

Oh I am a fan of tuna pasta :) and the salmon was exactly what I was thinking - I'll see what Lidl has!

Yes I have a slow cooker - I think I need to start using it more :)
I honestly couldn’t do without mine! I batch cook and load the freezer up with double portions

£6.11 prolific payment yesterday straight to CC and £2.42 today rounding bank account. Off to gym for double work out class this morning and then hopefully an hour's painting before tutoring this afternoon....oh and somewhere in there I will put a bean chilli in the slow cooker!

Still plodding away at the debt - money from KS2 marking came in today and it may well have been worth the chaos of not working right! Prolific payment of £6.07 straight to CC today. I sold a couple of items on vinted yesterday but that money is going on patchwork course pot!

Back to A'level marking....they've given me extra with deadline tmw, so best get on it :)

Had a lovely weekend away to catch up with family. Treated myself to some new sandals, but mine were falling apart. Sold another dress on Facebook, another £5 towards my patchwork course - only another £108 to go 😂

Beautiful day today, the warm air makes me feel like I’m on holiday. Cycled to the gym this morning, think I might carry on painting kids room today, don’t think I should be outside, although we do have the lovely sea breeze here. No idea how people in cities cope!

Finally signed up to chase, now to sort out how much I'll transfer each month - finally keep my tutoring income separate :) It's going to be for fun things for me (and haircuts, petrol, day to day expenses). Food is covered by joint account. I just don't know how much to allocate, and savings rate is better than my nationwide one that just expired! Decided I would close my plum accounts as not really paying that much and there is always a delay when they take money to when it appears in accounts. Currently just waiting for a prolific study, been to the gym this morning, now about to finish painting kids room/office.

Organisation is the key to getting this all paid off. I kind of like trying to make a little bit every day even when not working. It's strangely satisfying :) Any other survey sites or ideas?

I get frustrated with panelbase because it asks all these questions and then says I'm not a good fit!
