Paragraph 3 tells you:Those documents you intend to rely on are your Witness Statement and evidence.
Paragraph 4 tells you:
So you have less than five days to finish gathering your evidence and writing your Witness Statement.
That Order was dated in April.
You now need to step up the pace.
Start by refreshing you memory of the process by re-reading the second post of the NEWBIES thread.
Sorry, I'm not sure I understand 100% - To be clear, the original defence document I sent, based on the template, contains my individual facts plus all the other stuff contained in the template, is that my witness statement? Or do I basically just write out my part again minus the other stuff in template, plus any bits I may have missed out originally and call that my witness statement? Apologies again, I'm really not stupid, just confused lol...
Finally, do you know where I find the email address for court to send this to?0 -
You do just need to read the NEWBIES thread section on WS and evidence. This is fully explained, with examples.
As for the email address for local courts, just Google it or phone the court on Monday if you can't be sure.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I just read an example of a witness statement from a link in newbies and I remember reading it before. It looked like it was written by a solicitor, quoting counter claims, Beavis (I still don't understand what that's about despite numerous attempts to read and comprehend), references to other cases etc., etc..
As for the email address, I wasn't sure if I still emailed the same address I sent defence to, which may have explained why there was no email on the letter I received, or if I had to physically send/hand deliver to Portsmouth Court. I didn't make that clear but the fact you said google or ring the court tells me it is Portsmouth I send to so I will, of course, find their email and send all documents that way.
Wish me luck...
p.s. I'd like to know what set aside means, and make a counter claim if I have any grounds to, but you'll tell me to read another thread and my brain hurts too much already, so I'll just resign myself to my basic defence that I had a lease that gave me the right to park behind my shop and hope it's enough to get these vultures off my back.

Everything now is with the court to which your case has been allocated.I'd like to know what set aside meansHave you checked this via Google and found nothing? The latest good example WS are by @ricky_balboa and @wobs2k which are the examples most people are copying, as you will see on other court threads at your stage. Reading other threads really is the way forward. We read every single one every day! You only need to skim read some thread titles for ones about WS stage and then read a handful of them while watching TV and you'll get it.
Or just read the two I've mentioned, it will click when you see them.

This might help: -It is Witness Statement (WS) time then, look at the NEWBIE sticky second post and you will find links to some WS examples that you can use for style and format help. A WS is "in support of my defence as already filed" and is a narrative of what happened on the day and subsequently. It is written in the First Person ("I") in your own words. It is also the opportunity to provide evidence in support of arguments you have used in your defence and in your WS.Also look at examples given by @Coupon-mad, which will guide you as to style and format, obviously the content will differ depending upon what you put in your defence.2

I don't know if I have grounds as such, again I just saw it in the WS I read and wondered if I could make life difficult for them and counter claim. They did remove the shop numbers from my back wall which designated the parking spaces, maybe I can claim for that?0 -
