Not at all, mine wasn’t really a TT as it was a round number to start the year off…many more odd pence TT’s should follow after the DD’s and planned spends go out. My Monzo is also for my personal spending but has a rounding pot and you can request money from a bank account which is what I've done today with £1.25 from my main bank account.moving_forward said:Thanks @Naomim my Monzo account is for my personal spends or pocket money as we call it so looks like another spreadsheet it is 😁2 -

Thanks @WinterWarrior
@MoneysavingmadGem that's sounds like a good idea. Nice simple and no fuss. I shall do the two methods side by side and see which is better for me 👏

Belated Happy New Year to everyone posting on here

Good for you, starting the challenge, Naomim. It's certainly been revitalised since the 2021 one where it felt like I was often the only poster for weeks on end talking to myself

. You have lots of enthusiastic joiners already
. Good luck to all
. I'm not doing the challenge officially this year (although it's now a way of life for me) but I'll be cheering you all on from the sidelines. Remember, everyone, that 'little and often' where saving is concerned really does work
. I proved that to myself last year
.
Stay safe, everyone
