I've finally bought the kind of shoes I said I needed at the end of last year (black, moderate heel, with a strap across), but I'm waiting to see if they fit before deducting the coupons. 15% discount, which was not advertised but offered when I said I'd just order the correct size online. I wonder if they were worried I wouldn't bother, or worried that the store may close if they don't get sales. Bunny is my first ever completed crocheted item. Arms look a little short in the photo but they are okay in real life. I am now adding the fleece to the first sheep. All donated wool.I have just ordered the wool to make a poncho. @diminua, yes, I've noticed that some shops have more staff than customers. It's going to be a tough few months for shop owners, until people forget that their salaries have had a tax-related haircut and drift back into their old shopping habits.
