Hi all, just lost a really long post grrr
I make lots of 1 pot vegetarian stews but don't really have a recipe as I just bung in whatever I have to hand. I always start with onions and always use nor stock pots. I add herbs or spices depending on what I fancy but I do like paprika. I bung in a handful of lentils or a handful of mixed dried beans. I have made several lovely curries by using individual spices and leaving out the chilli as I am allergic to chilli. Using the individual spices is quite economical once they are bought as you only use a couple of tsps of each at the most. They all freeze well to be pinged on another day.
I have no spends to declare yet but I have been looking at yarn for the baby but no rush as s/he is not due until September.
I found out today my lovely over the fence coffee neighbour has covid. She is a very active 84 so I am a bit concerned for her. She has gone to stay with her daughter who has also got it so I know she will be looked after but I don't think I will be happy until she is through the other side.
Take care everyone10 -
Coupons!
Oh no
2 long sleeve tshirts. Falling under 'other garments' at 3 coupons each, would that be right?

Have you all been out on your victory Gardens this weekend?
Need to clear out the pots and get some more compost - hoping we don't get the projected frost, it will wipe out the damson blossoms completely.

Our street has been enjoying the sunshine, lots of grass cutting and gardening happening.
Can someone let me know how to get back to the first post of the thread on mobile please?
I bought more tights yesterday, they are supposedly ladder resistant and I'm keeping the receipt in case they get ladders.
I really struggle with getting tights to last a decent amount of time.Grocery challenge June £241.19/£320. July £303.97/£215

A sweatshirt, and 3 tshirts and a pair of plimsols.
Eek! Shall update signature accordingly, but I am quite pleased as I have customised them all....
The sweatshirt is black on black, and I love it!
The plimsols were plain too till I adorned with sunflowers

I've finally made a couple of pairs of knickers
Fabric I bought a while ago - can't recall exactly when so I hope I updated my coupons accordingly!
Blue cotton jersey briefs, two pairs - I just hand-sewed them, leaving the edges to curl naturally so it was only side-seams and the two gusset-seams. Very comfy and will do nicely for 'something blue' when the time comes!2025 remaining: 37 coupons from 66:
January (29): winter boots, green trainers, canvas swimming-shoes (15); t-shirt x2 (8); 3m cotton twill (6);
.
2025 second-hand acquisitions (no coupons): None thus far

Still haven't used any coupons, I do need some clothes but I just can't find them in cs, and when I decided to actually buy some new by going into the city, my transport broke down so still haven't bought any, so if you see me in rags going through the village, don't worry I'm sure things will improve soon!!!!£1 a day 2025: £90.00/365 Xmas fund8
