Good afternoon everyone, 
I would like to join the challenge again for my first full year. It is really going to help concentrate my mind to what I really NEED rather than my WANTS. 

Looking forward to many chats and hot drinks whilst warming up in the village hall.

Please count me in.  I started half way through 2021 then went/ still going through a toxic divorce and I went down a dress size or two so I had a bit of a splurge this past month.  I am now ready to accept the challenge properly and in sync with everyone else...

Quickly popping into the village hall to wish everyone a Happy New Year!

I already went for a 1 1/2 hour long walk and had the forest all to myself, hardly met anyone besides my lovely elderly neighbours. We had a good laugh that of course we had to meet first thing in the new year and then walked together for a bit and had a lovely little chat. During December I made a list with 21 good things that happened in 2021 and meeting them was on the list too, so I think it is a good omen that they were the first people I talked to in the new year.

@MrsCD the 1000 outdoor hours sounds like a great idea. I know I won't be able to get there – unless sitting on the balcony counts too, because I basically live on the balcony all summer – but my resolution for this year is to walk as much as possible and I'm often quite astonished at how much outdoor time you actually get when you make a little effort.

@LauraElsewhere I think looking back over the past two years an utterly uneventful year might just be what we crave for

Hello, Happy New Year, I am new to the village and was wondering if I could join. I have used my rations to make some biscuits (chocolate ones) and I have bought some elderflower wine (homemade).

I don’t need much clothing wise other than some undergarments and sleepwear.
