- eat the frog I researched (technical and financial)
- go to the storage unit to pick up my case for travel
- post on travel section to find out best way to take cash to another country (it no longer has an ATM)
- banking reconcile
- call and chase re missing letter
It seemed a good idea to review the frogs from a few days ago. I attempted them all but was not successful on all. However, at least I know where I am with them. I decided to forgo a higher interest rate for peace of mind and less stress. I have a financial and technical frog that still needs eating. I plan to do that tomorrow morning but I made progress on it the last time.
A crazy weekend supporting younger family members one way or another. Arrived back on Sunday tired but I was less stressed than when I went somehow, so it must have been good seeing them.
Today- bank reconcile and new budget for time away
- buy and pack all toiletries
- buy and pack coffee and a cafetière
- make a list of clothes and make-up items
- finish eating F&T frog
- sort out cash
- buy clothes, makeup items and trainers
Today as well as toiletries and tubs of celebrations for the local children I picked up a cafetière for £2.
I also found pure liquid soap, I use it for hair skin and hand washing. It is fragrance free. I love the stuff.
My star buy is mouthwash (alc free) from Mr L. It is 42p for 500ml. I was paying 3.29 and feeling happy if I got BOGOF. It isn't overpowering but it suits me.
I was MSE by walking there and back and waiting until I was home for a cuppa. This saved me 6.10!
Eating poorly
Later will bake some bread and make some veggie soup.
Hope everyone is ok

I was up and showered early today. I made soup and ate with hm bread from yesterday. I am sticking to 18:6 eating today to try to get back on track.
- Today I sorted out my international mobile issues with the help of the community on MSE
- I reconciled my bank today. (If I had done it yesterday I would be better off financially as I paid a stupid tax as @mark55man rightly calls it.) I am sucking it up and moving it on, hopefully won't make the same mistake again
- I have my cash situation resolved. I feel better for having done so...
- I set up necessary payments for whilst I am away so I don't need to think about them.
- I checked power for adaptors for the country I will be in.
- Off to pick up some vitamins for international family members (it is expensive to buy there)
- Will buy a small stove top teapot to take with me for boiling tea.
- This evening I have a form to fill in

Thanks @WelshmansDaughter I am ready now. Well as ready as I can be
Thanks @MovingForwards starting to look forward to it now
Thanks @savingholmes I am not taking a kettle! I am taking a small stainless steel teapot that I can use on the hob. I will pick herbs and add water and boil for fresh herb tea. I am really looking forward to a more natural, healthier lifestyle for a few months.
No houses have come up that are suitable. As expected, the market is slower coming up too Christmas. Hoping by the time I am back, people are beginning to sell again and I can find a home
MSE wise. I feel as if I am constantly spending. I am hugely looking forward to living a simple life where I won't need to spend much.
The time is getter closer. I wanted to be ready by the weekend. I wasn't ready, but the good news is my list is complete. I am ready to go. I just packed some quinoa as it is difficult to get. I weighed my case. I think it is within the specified weight.
Funny how I have gotten out of the habit of international travel. I am glad I am getting back into it again. I packed my posh noise cancelling headphones and a soft wrap to use as a pillow. I will leave at 4am so by the time I get on the plane I will be ready to sleep.
I won't be updating when I am away so everyone stay safe and have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. I hope 2023 is an excellent year for us all!
Thank you for all your support whether you post, view, or tick to say thank you. It has been a hard year for me. Being part of this community has made it more bearable.
Sending positive vibes out to you all
