I really appreciate all the well wishes from you all. Thank you. A bit late for happy new year I know, but wishing it to you all anyway
The trip was a complete reset. Such beauty and peace. I reconnected with close family. I swam in the sea and walked daily. I was vegan and booze free. I lost weight and gained fitness naturally. I found out whilst away that an award I applied for was awarded to me, so it was worth the stress of getting the application done before I left. I must keep the momentum going...
I was at baggage control waiting for my case and I swear fear was on that belt waiting for me. I'm back to feeling unsettled. Telling myself that is ok and I will tackle my frogs.
Yesterday I got a job application form in.
Yesterday I requested some bank info and changed a SO
On Friday I tackled a finance issue
On Friday I returned a few things at the PO.
Today I will work on another job application due in on Friday
I've recently learned that a small walk after meals is hugely impactful in controlling blood sugar. It needs to be 2-10 minutes within 2 hours of your meal. I call it my BS dump walk. It is IN ADDITION to a proper daily brisk walk. My other small change is green tea instead of black. I like the Japanese ones so easy to do.Green tea good for inflammation and BS so easy wins for me
I've started using the bells and whistles cookpot. I made a beautiful red Thai curry yesterday. Will make another curry today.
My housemate took me to the airport and picked me up too. She hasn't said, but parking at the airport, tolls, petrol, not to mention getting up at 4am to take me. So, taking her out for a meal this week to say thank you. Other than that being careful by walking (easier now as fitter) to save fares. Also will be doing lots of cheaper veggie meals like dals and curries with in season veggies.
I was ready to come back.
I have a house and a job to find.
Let the battle commence.

The trip sounds like it's done you the world of good! Congrats on the award as well.
Thanks for the tip on walking after meals, I shall try and adopt that one, 2 mins must be achievable!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
