sounds like a good option. you will never be completely secure until you are in your own space, but the space you have been offered even if it only lasts for a month before it is disturbed seems better than the other options, and the upside is, you could have it to yourself for longer

Wise words. The frog will be eaten next week and it is true, I won't feel secure until I have my own home again, but it does seem better than the other options. I will keep mulling it over and doing the financial sums. I fully understand about you being apprehensive staying with friends etc.
I'd feel the same way. That flat does sound like a good idea. However, hopefully it is in a goodish area that you are familiar with.
Hopefully the neighbours of that flat are not dodgy toe rags like you encountered last year. You know the score.
Don't cut yourself off of the occasional coffee out now and again . life is for living after all and we are going to be more screwed over the years with the gvt global plans.🤐

I agree about the flat, it sounds like a good solution in the short term. The flat sounds like a good option if you can afford it. Once you have tackled the financial frog, you will know where you stand.
You can then make a plan, you are always good when you have a plan.
