Thanks everyone. You are all right. I am keeping the vase as I love it.
Brie, I am IT useless, so can’t send a photo. I looked for one online to link to but didn’t find a picture of my exact one.
I have spent today sorting the flat. Labels have been made and I can see what needs to go with me.
I intended to eat the financial frog today but a key piece of information was missing. It will be at friend’s house, in stuff left there. The good thing is, had I not attempted to eat the frog I would not have known it was missing. I next go to her house the week after next so I will get what is needed then. The financial frog will be eaten by the end of January.
Today was a NSD
Home
It looks like an extension on the flat is being turned down. That’s ok. The sooner I leave the better, but there is still a lot to sort. Feeling a bit panicky about another move, but that is normal and I am sure it will settle down. Other family members have been struggling over the past few days too.
We all need to make adjustments and move forward. And we will.
Looking forward
There is a good supermarket near where I will be so eating fugally should not be an issue.
I will be setting a yoga mat up near the balcony to do daily yoga
I can have a coffee first thing on the balcony
I will take a plant and my vase so I can have flowers on the table.
I can start reading again as there is a comfortable sofa to curl up and read on
There is a nature reserve nearby for a daily walk
I can have a bath every night
Hope everyone is having a decent day.

You are being done a favour by having the extension declined, it means you can move on quicker and come to terms with everything without the constant reminder or pressure.

Sounds like your lovely new (old) vase will be a perfect addition in your flat. I agree that you should treat yourself to flowers for it when you move. It won't be long til the £1 bunches of bright, happy daffodils are back in the shops. Or if you are creative could you make some flowers?

I think the vase sounds a lovely treat. Hope you get settled in a new place soon. Glad that you are able to picture yourself there so clearly.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks Brie, MF, and SH
Blackcats, I noticed daffodils in the shops today. When I move I will prioritise flowers in the vaseYesterday I had a family day followed by a dinner for a friend’s birthday. I couldn’t afford it but decided to do it anyway and put the cost onto my CC. I was deeply uncomfortable doing so but in the end a relative of my friend paid for all of us, so no cost me at all
More packing completed and 15 bags gone in a friend’s van to take to the CS
A whole bag of paperwork gone through today
Sent a text to a friend explaining I could not do an invitation to an event that will cost 60. She seemed to take it well. Relief
A long walk. Heavy rucksack. Looking forward to my walking shoes arriving this week
Thinking of ways of cutting my food bills. I have changed my breakfast to nut butter spread on apples or pears and any other fruit on offer. This saves on crazily expensive bread that costs 6 for a tiny loaf of just four small slices. Good coffee won’t be cut out. I tend to save on my budget when I have a daily soup so going to up my soup
I am low on a vitamin that I cant get through food as it is in food I don’t eat. I’ve put off buying it as it costs 12 but bought it today
Bought some food and made soup
I had some fizz yesterday due to friend’s birthday, nice, but upping my water
Im trying to find a temporary home for the table I have here
Hope everyone is doing ok

Wow! Some going with the bags ! 😼
Regarding the vitamins ..it may be frowned on in an mse way, but I always take a fizzy tablet every day and would find it confusing and odd if I stopped taking it .
Normally get special offers such as 3for 2 etc. I'd say that when it comes to your health then if it's something that works keep taking it .I'll leave it there ..😼6
