I'm feeling a tad guilty about the positive comments about my good use of unexpected windfall. Since then a few younger relatives have been in trouble, so I have helped. Sometimes I feel I have such a large family, there will always be someone needing something. I definitely need to have a 'family help' budget'
Then I bought an item of clothing (heavily discounted in the sale) and something I needed, but still expensive. Then I am treating some much younger relatives to a day trip. So, ultra spending, but no frittering...I will still have a few hundred pounds left and will have to build on that...
No new house news this week so far. The survey should be either Friday or Monday.
Health wise, I've stopped walking, so going to start this again tomorrow. Will begin with once around the park!
Off to read diaries

Just back from a massage. It was so nice! It was at the osteopaths so they knew the history of my back. It was 30 minutes and vey reasonable as it was a newly qualified practitioner.
First there were areas that hurt to be massaged and later on the muscle was worked to the point of relaxation so pressure no longer hurt. It is a sort of magic really.
Even before the massage I am back to walking normally. The pain has gone, only a discomfort left, that will hopefully go too in time (hopefully)
Weather here hot and oppressive...
My BP is on the high side of normal, still ok, but I'd prefer it lower and exercise will help. Once I'm settled I will treat myself to a machine and get the reading lower...
I still didn't walk this morning. It is harder to do in someone els'e house. There is a system/routine, especially with a small person in the house. So, the new plan is to do an early evening walk. It should have cooled down by then.
I have an idea for a creative income stream once in the new area. I contacted a person who will help as a sounding board and as a source of positive vibes (a bit like here really) I didn't get a job I applied for. My learning point is: I didn't actually want it, just a bit scared of going for what I really do want. I think the person I contacted will help there too.
I hope everyone is having a good day

Helping out family is a lovely thing to do.
Glad you enjoyed the massage, and sounds positive about the creative venture as well

Glad the survey is sounding much more positive this time. Hopefully the written report will reflect that.
