I've done my totalising a bit early as not much is likely to change now other than my PADs.

I think today it's starting to sink in a bit about the compressed hours, I keep thinking I'll have time to do stuff now.  I won't have to cram everything into my holidays in the hope of getting things done, and will be able to enjoy more time with the kids.  And if I have a CBA day, it won't matter so much as I'll have another day the following week.  It will be interesting to see how it all works out and what a difference it makes.

I don't think in reality it will make that much of a difference to my working day apart from the extra day in the office, as I do long days anyway.  It just means I won't build up so much flexi, and I won't have so much need for that anyway.

Brilliant decluttering there - I've reached a bit of a stalling point with mine at the moment, we had a HUGE declutter session just before lockdown 1 - I was SO glad we'd done it as it made the place far nicer to be in so much of the time! There is certainly still stuff that can go I think, it's just a case of working out what, plus mrEH is responsible for some of it and that's like dangling a microscopically small carrot in front of an elderly, partially sighted and slightly arthritic donkey, the speed that process moves at.

    DEcluttering looking great.
Mine has ground to a halt.
It could be better, so I'm hoping to make more of an effort.  You made a good start though!

Haha Mr Jwil is the same! :D:D   Most of mine has gone now, though there is still more to do, but he's got loads.  It is a lot better than it was though, so it's getting there extremely slowly!

Happy weekend everyone!  Work has been crazy busy and next week's going to be really hectic trying to get everything done, but then I've got two weeks off and then I start my new hours!  I'm getting excited now

Not much done this week or today, the house is a mess!  DH is sorting so I can't clean.  That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it :D

I thought it might be a good idea to monitor my PADs to keep an eye on how much I'm overpaying the mortgage.  Obviously at the moment, I am going to be nowhere near the overpayment limit, but as time goes on I might get closer, so I'm going to try and keep an eye on my totals.

I've added up what I've done so far this year and am pleasantly surprised!  Not including normal monthly payments I have paid a total of:

    Jan - £126
    Feb - £106
    Mar - £136
    Apr - £8

I send over £1 a day from my bank account - more if I'm feeling flush at the start of the month, and any survey money/sales money I get.  I'm amazed at how it adds up!  With my normal PADs alone, I'd have about £30- £50 a month, so I must have earned a lot from surveys and sales!  I didn't realise it was that much.
