It wasn't too bad, though last night seemed worse here.

Hope everyone is well
I'm so tired, I can't seem to shake it. Busyness and socialising doesn't suit me, I need time to recharge.
That said, it's been a great few weeks and I've had lots of good experiences, so I can't complain! DH is off for this week and next week so it's going to be a while before I get that alone time. I might see if I can get him to take the kids out for a bit on Friday so I can have a break. I'm getting irritable and snappy and disliking them all in my personal space, and that's a clear sign! I'm back to work Wednesday and Thursday, and then off again on Friday.
I think last night's storm was more powerful than Friday's despite it just being a yellow warning. I was in bed by 8pm and all I could hear was next door's tree scraping against our window. I messaged DH about it (because I was too lazy to get out of bed) but he didn't see it until just before he came to bed. He soon realised how annoying it was and was outside at 1am cutting the tree back
My £25 survey money arrived in my account today, so I have paid that to the mortgage.
DH sold one item yesterday and the kids have sold two items today, so it's all still trickling out. DH is getting on with sorting. It seems to be a very slow process but something has got to be better than nothing.
We took the kids swimming today, and it reminded me that I love swimming, and should find a way to go more often. I'm not a great swimmer, I just like it, and even just today when we were in the teaching pool, and I wasn't really doing any swimming, it has soothed my backache and I feel like I've done some exercise.
It was my birthday in the week and so I was treated to a nice new pile of books. I've been working my way through themFebruary has been an expensive month for birthdays, so it will be nice to have a little break from them. We have lots of family birthdays, and most of little jwil's class was born in February (9 months after the last jubilee double bank holiday, guess how I know...
) so he's had lots of parties too. March should be a bit quieter and hopefully less expensive!

Glad you had a good birthday 🎂
Swimming sounds very beneficial and therapeutic for you 🏊♂️You’ve crammed quite a lot over the last couple of weeks , and if you get that quiet day on Friday all should be back on level footing 🦶or normal2 -

I think a quiet day will definitely help.

Morning everyone. Still shattered today. I have some work stuff playing on my mind, which probably isn't helping. Hopefully I can resolve that over the next couple of days meaning I can relax on Friday.
We are off to visit some friends today. Our original plan to go for a walk in the forest isn't happening as it's still closed for safety reasons, so we are taking the kids to a play area instead.
We sold another 4 items yesterday, hurrah! I've sent the money from the earlier sales to the mortgage."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5
