Happy New Diary! Your goals for the year ahead sound great, so wishing you well with them and will follow along to cheer you on.
If you do as well as you did last year then look out 2022 cos jwil is going to kick your but! (((hugs)))I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy8 -
Typing this at a weird time due to booster( covid jab no3)😷😾.You have done such a good job so far from what I can see on your new diary here @jwil. I’ll try and catchup on your others .Regarding the weight issue; a friend of mine was in a similar situation until recently . He had major sleep apnoea, but managed to beat both the pre d and sleep a p . Looks really well from the rare times I used Faceblock.I don’t know your work pattern etc but it sounds like you have a lot going on in your nice family . The only thing i would say if I may , is to try and see if you can have a quiet period where you can do some very light exercise ( say about half hour 3-4 times a week) via you tube or similar . Don’t eat anything for an hour before or an hour after. It won’t cost anything ( if you can get yoga mat it would be more comfy). You probably eat more healthily than me (most do 😼) . I don’t diet , but if you can replace stuff here and there for healthy options then that is a plus too!You have a dogs also 🐕good for exercise.Anyhow sorry for rambling , but I’ve subscribed now.Wishing you the best start to a better year😼7

NeverendingDMP said:Hello. Just thought I'd pop in in the new diary x well done on the debt totals. It's a lot lower now isn't it. And good luck on your targets for this year x
I couldn't ever imagine getting to this stage, it feels amazing. I know it's still a lot, but the end is in sight compared to where it's all been.

Morning everyone. I've woken with a headache this morning, but think it's due to not drinking enough yesterday, so that should be easily remedied.
I had £6 cash back arrive in my account, so have sent that to the mortgage along with my usual £1 a day payment.
DH is going back to work next week, so that's good news.

I've read your last diary for some time now. You are doing so well at getting the debt down and decluttering too. Great to read your new goals. Hoping 2022 will be as or even more successful in meeting these goals than 2021.7

Glad that your DH has work again for next week. You've achieved so much this year. Lovely that you had the debt write off too. Let's hope the remaining debt also gets written off. Well done on the mortgage reduction. Heading in the right direction.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I feel like I have lost my mojo with the decluttering etc, so hoping to pick up on that again this year.

I have no motivation today, I can't be bothered. I don't 'have' to do anything, but I feel I should be getting on with things. My pile of books is far more appealing though
I cooked up the turkey joint this morning, so have had a picky lunch at last - all is well with the world again
Oh well, I shall try and motivate myself a bit more this afternoon."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney8 -
I'm 'jealous' of the turkey. I bought some - but DD had 3 x turkey xmas dinners at relatives so doesn't want any at home yet. I may cook it for NYD instead or perhaps keep it for another weekend.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
