I hope so too.

I've just had my covid jab so that's me done for flu and covid now, hurrah,
One electrician came out the other day but we haven't had his quote yet. Another is due tomorrow, and I haven't heard back from the other one after he asked me to email.
The plumber we contacted hasn't even replied. *sigh* It's so hard when it's a (hopefully!) small job.
2 more items sold for DH today. Payday tomorrow, at last! I've submitted our meter readings, though my energy company has actually just put our DD down. I assume it's to allow for the £400. I did put the heating on last night for 30 mins or so just to check that it's all working. One radiator needs bleeding but the rest seem ok.

Update on my health
The changes I have made so far are:1. Aiming for 1/2 plate of fruit/veg with every meal - mostly2. Stop eating chocolate bars - I have restarted this, but am careful to eat in moderation. I can definitely have chocolate in the house now without scoffing the lot! A few squares is enough. Got to keep an eye though that bad habits don't creep back in.3. Time restricted eating - 9am - 7pm, 10 hours - mostly4. Reduce snacking between meals - definite improvementWalk to school/work Tuesday, Wednesday, and school on Friday. - Generally done Mon/Tues/Wed so pleased with thatStop my lunchtime can of fizzy pop. - DoneGo lower carb - not low carb in the official sense, but reduce the quantity I have at each meal and bulk up more with fruit and veg. - Not made great progress with this. Needs more work."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
I'm pleased with the changes I've made this month, and despite reintroducing chocolate, I have lost 4.5lb this month! I'm really happy with that, and assume the exercise is making a big difference. My knee is still painful but it is definitely improving, so I'm hoping that a few more weeks of walking will help it go!
I'm not calorie counting any more, as it is too much faff, but the few days that I tried it, it made me realise that I am not eating crazy amounts, so just small tweaks should add up eventually. It was reassuring for sure!
All the bills are paid, and pots mostly topped up. It's going to be an expensive month this month as I've got MOT and Service, hopefully the electrics and a weekend away. I'm hoping to just coast along again this month, rather than make massive progress.
I did order some clothes yesterday. Not desperately needed, but I think will be more comfortable for walking in and good for layering in winter. Smarter for out and about, rather than slobbing around in big jumpers which are better at home."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Sounds like things are balanced overall.
Really well done on the weight loss.
PADs ended up a good number too despite all the return to school costs.

Fantastic weight loss jwil! 1lb weight loss weekly, over a year is nearly 4 stones, and because it's coming of gradually it's much more likely to stay off, as new habits have a chance to 'stick' Well done you. XXXI Believe.....
