I'm taking the kids swimming today, and then DH is planning on taking them out this afternoon. That should give me time and space to tackle a couple of areas in the house that are bugging me.
I also hope to carry on a bit with the garden.
DH has sold another item so that's in the post today as well.
Have a good day everyone"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -
Is there any way you can complain about the harassment at your meeting. To try to force you to do something you are not comfortable with is not on and I am sure, not within the spirit of them. They are supposed to help not make you feel bad.
I find with all these things is that they concentrate on weight not health and many people who are overweight know what they "should" be eating but it isnt that simple.

It is frustrating when they concentrate on weight. My weight has barely moved, but I know I have made significant changes to my diet. I just have to hope that it will show in my bloods. You are right - I know exactly what a healthy diet looks like, but it's the other challenges and barriers that need overcoming. That's what I hoped to get from the course, but honestly it seems to be a bunch of disinterested people."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". @jwil it struck me as plain bullying...I am aiming to reverse my diabetes diagnosis by the end of the year and have some more weight to lose but it sounds like toxic positivity at best...or just plain fat-shaming. Not that I'm describing you as that. If it is diabetes, then your emotional state, anxiety levels and amount of sleep plus whether it's straight through the night or broken all have an impact. Is their attitude going to help or hinder the above?! Keep going, you're fab love Humdinger xx4

Good luck with turning your diabetes round though, let us know how you get on!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -
I have a different health challenge, with a blood cancer labelled polycythemia vera Jak2. I last month had Covid and contrary to expectations, my red blood count dropped dramatically from excessive to low. I lost about half a stone due to no appetite.
My point, which I know you are aware of is that weight isn't an indicator of health. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?4 -
