    The valuation office will take into account, all the evidence you put forward. On the link I posted there is a step by step guide of what you need to do. This helped me.

    I used right move or zoopla, which had sold prices on it and also current properties for sale which had floor plans and council tax banding.

    I'm not sure why you are having trouble with links, the link I provided earlier has links on it to every thing you need to know.

    Do be aware that house price indices are inaccurate, so at best will only give an approximate value. Having compared them to actual sales I have found them undervaluing 1991 prices by around 10%. 
    If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales

    Must be me the bungalow we live in as never been sold prior to us it was purpose built in 1980 never been extended single story found single story bungalows in road but how can you find 1991/1993 sold prices for something that as never been sold Rightmove does not always show floor planes VOA only keep records for six years if you believe that can’t seem to get them to share information very frustrating
