Hi everyone!
Just been catching up with all the posts already!
Count us in again. Not sure on targets as our main focus this year is to create a crafting room or area in the new house and then unpack the boxes.
I was bought various bits over Christmas including a pattern and material (I've then bought the boring extras like elastic) to try and have a go at making trousers for myself (sewing novice!).
Perhaps my target should be low buy and if I do buy I have to actually make a project. One in one out kinda thing!
Happy New Year everyone!4 -
Not actually done any crafting yet just waiting to see if my little boy will go to sleep this afternoon but no luck at the moment, if I try to do any when he is a wake he will like to "help me" but I haven't spent any money yet

Glad to see people have been busy. 😁I know this is off topic - but I have bought a second hand sofa. I’m washing to lose covers on a cool wash. But what can I do to make it stop smelling????It’s not hideous. I’ve tried some fabric fresh foam but that’s just kind of a masked it….

I would try some baking soda to see if that helps. Normally you would soak the items in a sink or a bucket with around half a cup of baking soda for a couple of hours and then wash them in the washing machine. But, I don't think you would get all the loose covers in a sink perhaps. You could soak half of them at a time maybe and then wash them all together in the washing machine.
Hope that helps.

Nimbo if it's the sofa that's smelling, rather than the covers, try sprinkling baking soda over it. Leave it for as long as you can, and then vacuum the powder up. Try it on a small area first. Make sure that children and animals keep away though as it can cause them problems if ingested.GC Feb 25 - £225.54/£250 Mar £218.63/£2405

Hi all. I’m loving the makes. People have been super busy.I’m up to 47 / 250 yay.I have managed to get the missing epp templates cut by a friend. They were free. But I owe her a favour.I now have no excuse not to finish the quilt. I have a plan of where I am going with it. It’s going to be epic. 😁😁🤣🤣🤣I’ve cleaned the sofa. It’s smelling better. But still wet. So hopefully stays smelling better. It’s by the radiator to dry out. I’m hoping to is works. I borrowed the cleaner do free. 😁😁
and spending has gone up. My fella decided to order me the black spray paint as he gets free Amazon delivery. Which was nice. But not the plan necessarily. So up to 22.87 / 250.
