Would this be the wrong place to mention that I've nearly finished this year's Christmas shopping then? 🤣3

Well if we go by the fact that I've only got one present to buy (I only buy for one person), then I can say the same - just without having started yet 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I have got some bits for the youngest niece/nephews but not more than that.
One present... is that a big one or a token...?
I have 9 I definitely buy for - but the list is more like 20 - and some of them have birthdays very close to xmas as well.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Right, this week's (very small) money-saving/making actions were:
* 28p received in interest 🥳🥳🥳
* £1.78 cashback received on my current account
* £1.83 received from TopCashBack
* My Mum and I both needed stamps, so we went halves on a book of 4, rather than both buy more than we needed and have them sat around as unused inventory. I find the cost of stamps really offensive, 95p for first class now 😡!
This week's revelation: Inflation may have kicked my pot noodle habit for good. I can't find them for less than £1.00 now (£1.20 in Sainsbury's 😱) and I refuse to pay that much. Probably not a bad thing, in the grand scheme of things!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

You could make your own quite easily. I used to like adding leftover cooked chicken, noodles, sweetcorn and peas, then just adding hot water with a bit of a stock cube. You can also add flavourings or whatever else you want.South_coast said:This week's revelation: Inflation may have kicked my pot noodle habit for good. That sounds nice QueenJess, I often make something similar, but I'm not sure it's a fair pot noodle replacement as it contains actual food 🤣4
