What came in this month has exactly equalled what's gone out. I am up to date, Qmee window closed, payday tomorrow and there is nothing more to do 👍

My comment about getting ducks in a row got me musing last night that we evidently believe that's easier than herding cats, as we aspire to do one but despair at the other. Where do these expressions come from, I wonder 🤔?

No. I have the ingredients and was going to do it on Sunday, then got taken out for dinner instead (not going to refuse that!!!), then I was going to do it on Wednesday but couldn't be bothered and had beans on toast instead 🤣 I will do it, ingredients will last for ages, so no rush 🐈

* Try to be more upbeat and positive - and don't succumb to ranting at/about work
I'm sure having a week off helped 🤣! But I did catch myself the other week and stop myself before I started sounding off 🦆

* Try and have a couple of little trips away, one UK, one Europe

Hmmm, I was going to follow up with my first of the month figures, but I can't get the balance on one of my pensions before 7.00am 🙄 From what I can see so far, the two other pensions and ISA have done appallingly, but that's been offset by saving a lot in cash and finally getting the £100 LISA bonus, so it's on a knife edge - will it be cats or ducks???

I needed to check my pension as I changed the amount going in for this month and I wanted to make sure my employer had done it. Sadly I can see I’ve lost more in my pension this year than I’ve actually put in 😬. This is exactly why I’ve stopped looking at the numbers!

So Team Cats have it 🐈🐈🐈 Not what I was hoping for after saving 69.6%, a £100 Govt top-up on the LISA and a month's regular pension contributions 😱!

Maybe July will be my month 🤔🤷‍♀️?
