Aaargh, current pension app and website are down for maintenance until 6.00pm - why do they always do this on the first 🤦♀️? Am persevering though, everything else is down, so I am leaning hard on blind optimism that the one thing I've actually contributed to will be my salvation 🤣🤣🤣
(Talk amongst yourselves for a few hours....)

OK, so it wasn't worth waiting for 😅
First of the month round-up....
- Savings for retirement: -£845.94
- Average needed per month to retire in 9 years: £4,106.06
- Rolling 12-month average: £1,852.73 😬
- Getting FIREd up starts: April 2027
- Repaying pots until: October 2027
£500 knocked off the rolling average in a single month again! I really hope that actually getting FIREd up in April starts to reverse this trend!
In other news, it's 1 November and I am already fed up with the Christmas adverts. Sainsbury's are featuring the BFG for the second year running - why??? What am I missing 🤷♀️?
And that's before I've even heard Noddy Holder or Wizzard....

In slightly more positive news, my spreadsheet tells me I am 29.0% of the way to achieving retirement in 9 years 👍

I have noticed a wee bit of synchronicity between our monthly rises and falls when it's the market that's to blame, not our own genius/mistakes. For better or worse, that's pretty impressive considering you're investing for one and we're a couple 💪
