Over £300 is pretty good I think? I think we all have different tolerances for surveys, I've lost all my mojo for them but occasionally I think I should get into them again.3

I’ve fallen out of love with prolific for exactly the same reason SC - endless work surveys that were almost all variations on interactions with coworkers or manager. I’m on a months-long break from it because I just couldn’t face them any more.Debt at LBM (Dec 2018): £23,167

Phew, am glad I'm not the only one! I thought I must have answered something funny in my profiling questions for them to keep singling me out 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

The problem with prolific is that it's university research work and having been in that space for a lot of the last 17 years, you get people doing similar projects a lot of the time. Business students will always want to do something on workplaces, psychology students will always want to do things on reactions to events etc. So it will be repetitive around this time of year too as people are trying to get as many responses as possible for their dissertations so will also submit the same questionnaire multiple times.
On the subject of food spends too, we're 2 adults who are meat eaters, one has a huge appetite, and we spend less than £200 a month on groceries, household products for cleaning and toiletries for one of us too (I have fussy skin so have to spend a little more on face and body care). We shop in Sainsbury's predominantly because it's where DH prefers. It takes planning and sometimes is a little repetitive but it works for us. We also spend about £25 of that on the food bank too - this week we bought a bunch of free from stuff and alternative milks because people using food banks have allergies etc. also. So spending £100 on one person who's a vegetarian is perfectly reasonable - whether its stuff you can make a meal out of though is another matter 😆Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20175 -
I like prolific in terms of what you get v what you put in. I average around £5-£15 a week on there but some of the studies are mind numbing.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
