In cheerier news, the council have updated their website to say all rebates to Band A properties will be paid on 09/05, so that will be a handy boost to the coffers
Well it was not paid on 09/05, so not sure what's going on there 🤷‍♀️ Checked their website and the page that was saying that has now disappeared (good job I took a screenshot, so I know I'm not completely mad). Oh well, at least I wasn't relying on that to pay for things yesterday!
Our council in Sussex said payment will be initiated on 9/5 and in banks in the 12th. I wont hold my breath though!

We had the same thing about the computer system, Ruby, but they then did give a definite date (still not received 🤦‍♀️)! Too many other things to be chasing at the moment, will wait for someone else to complain about it (the same strategy I employ with things like flashing lights in the corridor)

....and I've promptly spent half of it on petrol. £76 to fill up now - the same car was £55 four years ago 😱! £55 now in the petrol budget until the end of the month, need to fill up at least once more so that's clearly not going to be enough. Looks like I'll be raiding the grocery budget, as that's the only one with anything left 🤔!

£83 a month sounds like a dream - I'm considering putting my budget up to £250! By comparison, groceries is £100 - and I get change 😮!

God, I am so bored of doing surveys about work on Prolific! I reckon 95% of what they've given me in the last few months is about interactions with supervisors and/or coworkers, either real or hypothetical. I think about work enough when I'm actually in work, give me something else to think about when I'm not, please!!!

@South_coast - if you don't mind me asking, is Prolific worth the time you spend on it? Care to hazard a guess as to annual earnings?

Your grocery spend is phenomenal, we're at c. £550 a month for 3 and a baby, but we eat meat, we eat well and that also includes a sensible amount of alcohol and treats.
