Maybe they could meter the communal supply and you could agree to either sub-meter internally and pay into a communal fund or split based on property size?

😱 That sounds like a lot of set-up and additional admin, plus there would never be buy-in from the infernal car washers that blight every summer day. I think I'd rather just quietly pay the £45/month than stick my head above the parapet by suggesting that one 🤣!

I had a SC-level experience on Y Live last night. Left 7-8 surveys 'til the end of the week. Got screened out of 6 on the trot, spent 20+ minutes doing a "10-minute" survey, rage quit 😂

I feel you on the water bill - ours is unmetered (assessed) too and it's just gone up to almost £80, and there's only two of us! No way do we use that amount of water. We're on a shared supply so had previously been told we couldn't get a meter, although they're now saying we could get one as long as there's enough space around the internal stopcock. That is unfortunately really wedged in behind the washing machine, but I'm still trying to figure out if there's a way around it. It's just such a ludicrous amount of money!
