Punished by a seagull for cutting my run short this morning (I had a stitch) - great brown splats of ๐ฉ on my chest and thigh ๐คข Fortunately on my clothes rather than my flesh, although it did soak through ๐ฑ!Mortgage start: ยฃ65,495 (March 2016)

Unbelieveable ... yuckย
But well done for getting out there - gorgeous day here as well in London and luckily no seagulls I can see
I have been lax on Sains fruit & veg - will see if it finishes todayDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just donโt buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rateย isย attributed to the fact that weย donโt buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.ย ย ย Money doesnโt walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

It did seem easier this time! I bought a couple of tins of chopped tomatoes, as I knew they scored highly, then just switched for one week for my usual veg and I was done.ย
๐ฉ has come out of my top in the wash, two small brown stains on my trousers, which will hopefully come out after a few more washes. At least they're on my front and not the rear ๐ณ!Mortgage start: ยฃ65,495 (March 2016)

Right, finally something sensible to post about ๐คฃ!
First of the month round-upโฆ.
3x extra ยฃ50s this month (should have been more, see below ๐ฅ), coming from surveys, lots of TopCashBack (hotel booking), interest, some tilly tidies, bank account cashback, We Buy Books and Ziffit. Used them towards the money transfer fee on the credit card (so the interest can all be profit ๐)
Moved my instant access savings to the limited edition 5.2% Santander account. My stooze balance alone (the everyday spending one, not the money transfer one) is now earning me ยฃ14/month in interest ๐ฎ๐คฏ
My LISA interest rate also went up again, so that's another ยฃ3.30-ish being added every monthย
I've even moved my savings for my niece, as I wasn't impressed at still only getting 3%. She's now getting ยฃ6.50/month to top up her pot (I put in ยฃ10/month, so that's a tasty 65% uplift!) Now toying with front-loading the remainder of the planned payments, as that would see the monthly payments matching the monthly interest ๐ค Not actually got the cash to do that though, think I'll do some spreadsheeting!
Received my ยฃ50 loyalty bonus on my electric billโฆ.
โฆ.and requested a ยฃ70 refund to my bank
โฆ.and then had to spend it on petrol ๐คฆโโ๏ธ๐ฅ
Finally got back on target with "the other thing" (I diverted money towards holidays earlier in the year - no regrets ๐), so from next month I'll be sending more towards the S&S again
11.64* years to goโฆ.
Feeling a lot more positive this month!
*Not strictly accurate, as I can't get a balance from my current pension, so that's based on last month's figure. Although, having seen what's happened to the other two pensions this month, I'm probably better off not looking ๐คฃ!
