  • Soooooo many discarded receipts on the self-checkouts in Lidl this evening - it was a receipt-scanner's paradise! Managed to limit myself to just hoovering up the one spare one on the checkout I actually used, but it was tough 😅

(May have been a different story if it wasn't somewhere I shopped every week and could have been recognised though 😀!)

I think there was something about this on the radio the other - either an advert or a conversation about how women don't realise how often men think about the Roman Empire... weird.... and not helped by the fact I can't remember if it was an ad, that I'll likely hear again, or just a weird radio presenter conversation.

Roman empire = typical male behaviour = incest = murder of siblings.  Oh the joys.  I do hope thinking about the roman empire was not supposed to be a good thing.  Well apart from the one played by Derek Jacobi anyway.

I have no idea why but I have been seeing quite a few memes about men thinking about the Roman empire - I don't get it!

Just had one of my best bonuses for a longitudinal study - c. £27. I've just passed £1,000 :)

Think we’ve been doing the same study Ed. It was a good one, although I won’t miss the game!
