Hello and thank you Liverpool Anne, don't feel so odd now.  

It was a huge hurdle that lasted years, about 10-15.  Kept saying I would learn how to do it.  And then one day I did.

The encouragement that exists here on these boards is immense.  So I want to encourage you.  It is much easier than you think.  The process is methhodical and can be taken a step at a time with massive breaks inbetween if you need them.  No swooning tho'........

As one poster said to me .......'You've got this'

Hello everyone
It's really encouraging to read how you're all doing, it spurs me on to get my house sorted.once and for all.

Today's list is a lot shorter than yesterday's, it was rather long bit_by_bit  , I'm saving myself for the loft sorting.

52. 1700 emails deleted
53. Email sent

53 above is another frog that I've eaten today - I'm getting quite a taste for them - this has been outstanding for six months, not quite as bad as yesterday's.

wow you’ve all done so much 
I feel a complete failure 
am still sorting my bedroom,quite a lot of tat thrown,have a biggish bag for the charity shop on Monday ,will count the number of items before I take it.
I have decluttered two frogs during the week 
1 DH premium bonds are now cashed and reinvested in my name ,their first draw will be March ,he was quite lucky and won £25 most months ,bet now they’re in my name they don’t win a bean !
2 I have sorted Sky to my name ,got rid of sport and multi room ,rejigged the broadband package and will be paying half what I was .,
 Also managed to declutter 2 1/2 lb at SlimmingWorld this morning .

will try to do better next week

So .... I faced my accounts frog and did a couple of hours on them this morning (decluttered 3 chocolate biscuits to keep me going while I did them!).  I was delighted to find that my Jan 2021 self had kindly entered all my expenditure on a spreadsheet  - so I only had to add 2 and a bit months then check it against statements.  Of course it would make sense for me to return the favour for my January 2023 self but I won't be doing that this weekend.  I haven't got a lot left to do now!!

You have sorted stuff for charity, reduced a bill AND lost weight you fabulous girl.

Good evening.
I haven't been well so not much done here. DH has just put together the drawers for DD2 so can make a start on her clothes tomorrow.
I've decanted all her things on to her new shelves so 2 large cardboard boxes have gone to be recycled.

Fed the dogs last night, pulled out the empty meat tray box and there in the bottom were the dogs ear tweezers! I'd emptied the whole cupboard but they hid well.

121 100 emails while drinking my morning tea (500 now, hopefully there's nowhere near last year 23k when I started on this thread).

I need to be dragged out of the buffet car - found left over chocolate and sweets so not need the table moving so I can get out! extra llbs will need decluttering.

3 items returned, 1 item posted as sold and packaging.
Tried to take v expensive cat feeder back - bought an alternative as too complicated, and shop said it had been used....v cross and telephoned head office who said had to be taken to store....so will have to try again.
PIP form and enclosures for DD all posted (and copy saved)

I read through posts during the day which motivates me but means I can't remember what I wanted to comment, and congratulate on, so lots of applause - looked for emoji but can't find it -  all round.
