We are all enjoying your foray into the ROD @Roundtuit - it is amazing how much stuff we all keep for no reason. Extra school run to do today than in person quiz for a change.
1206 - plastic pot for straws - finally empty after about 10 years use. I shan't buy more so to CS bag
1207/1208 - two pairs of summer pjs sneaked into CS bag whilst GS4 is not here watching. Much too small for him and he has 6 other pairs here. He was very reluctant to let them go.2025 Decluttering Campaign 635/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

I cannot tell a lie. When I went up to get dressed I had a bit of a rummage in the RoD. Because there's room to do that now. Just to get an idea of what else is in there. Oh boy! But, you know, I don't think that flat packed bedside cabinet is in there! 🤔 ooo it might be in that corner behind that painting, there's still hope 🤣
I found another suit type jacket!!! - DS and 10 x PS3 games - DS. I've messaged DS to inform.
Now for this bag of books. Jane Austen's Sense & Sensibility is at the top. I think this will be tougher ...but I'll see what happens.

7 books - cs
8 books - keep
So I've added a book from the earlier keep pile to remain at 50%. I was wavering on that one anyway. So keep The Road Less Travelled and donate Eternal Echoes- Exploring our hunger to belong.
1 book - cs
Jane Austen is leaving the building, Tolkien, Hardy, Dickens, and Watership Down are staying.
A dictionary and a Thesaurus are going after I checked that my big dictionary includes a Thesaurus.
It's very still here after last night's hoolie.

Brought another bag down. Not books this time
PS2 box - recycle
Instruction Book - recycle
3 x PS2 memory cards - DS
Toy guitar with very corroded batteries- I managed to get the battery cover off. (Found a full box of wash pods while I was looking for my screwdrivers - thank you very much 😊. Wash pods now in the cupboard under the sink.) I managed to get the batteries out and they've gone for recycling. And I left the guitar open to dry out. I'll ask DS if he wants the guitars- there's another toy guitar without batteries in the bag too. If not they'll be cleaned up and - cs

I fell off the de-cluttering train months ago. I'm not sure why a touch of depression and a lot of work so mostly exhausted. I have 5 weeks to try to get back on and steer my life to a bit of normality. I miss everyone Mrs SD cheering and all of you doing so well.DF by 2023 No 17 £1,644 /£6000 Total debt £18,000 at the start of DFW Journey. 201814TH JULY 2021 DEBT FREE now in control365 1p challenge No 4910

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV during daylight hours 😉 AB2 playing zero - 20/9/2022
4. Declutter/Relocate one item every time I stand up.
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Before I forget again, these are the pumpkins DH carved.
Wednesday was very windy & wet. Dealt with my mail so that I could post when out. DH & I decluttered dentist appointments. Dentist was surprised how easy it was to clean my teeth this time - I have gone back to manual rather than electric toothbrush 🤔 DH had his crown reattached. We would usually pop into The Wishing Well pub after our appointments but pub has been renamed & is under new management with designer/craft beers being advertised. Not for us 😉 so straight to Tube station, Central Line to Bank & used the new moving walkways to get to DLR 🙂 Whilst on the train we decided to continue on past our home stop & go into our usual pub in Greenwich 😄 Very fortuitous as when I went out for a ciggie I found a new spa place (have been looking for somewhere (easy to get to) to get a massage since the Isle of Dogs branch of the Chinese Wellness Centre shut down) 🥳 DH & I had a few beers & shared a couple of Scotch eggs - peasant & rabbit; venison & pork 🤤 A very pleasant few hours chatting & planning the next decluttering project - DH’s office 😅 Home by 7:00 p.m. - having missed the rain all day we got caught on the last leg of our trip home 😔 DSis had shop bought tortellini for dinner whilst DH & I had beans on toast with fried eggs on top. Wudupa. Wet & wild for the rest of the night 🌧
P.S. forgot to mention that DH was lucky on the PB draw - £150 🍀 My luck was out £0 😔
Thursday is overcast, colder but dry 🤞
1877 - 1881 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 3 newspapers - recycled
1882 Kitchen detritus binned
Ouch, that is very early roundtuit 😓 but very pleased to hear that you stayed in bed until a slightly more reasonable time. Avoidance of hernias is to be recommended 🤣 Excellent decluttering & yet another box empty 👏 No need to apologise for being so successful on your decluttering journey - I am definitely living vicariously through your successes 🙂 Wow 2 more boxes dealt with 👏 I did have a rueful smile at “Tatty badge x 5 - bin (including 'Yippee I'm 3' DS will be 30 in December. Maybe now you can see why there's so much to get through. And I can't just bin the box. I'd never sleep again.)” Ditto for me 😔 & ditto re untangling things - very therapeutic 😊 You can definitely do without shocks like that roundtuit 😱 Kids will love it! At the rate you are going you will need two trips to the cs 👏 Hope you enjoyed your lunch at the posh farm shop cafe 😊 Another box gone - you must be noticing a huge difference in the RofD 🤞Hopefully the box of books will all be self help ones & you can pack them off to the cs with no remorse 🤣 after all you now have a system that works for you & you can do without being reminded of past attempts at decluttering 🙃 I see that you were successful in your book cull - one Gold Star ⭐️ on its way. The contents of bags & boxes are flying out - still a 50% success rate in book disposal - you are a marvel & an inspiration 😊 Thank you. I am loving reading your lists - some real treasures. I forgot to ask if you played with the yo-yos before putting them in the cs bag 🥲
Love it ionafan 👏
Did laugh at that vulpix - dinner time is any time 🥲 Sorry to hear about the sad tale of the doctors surgery 🙁 hopefully the new practice will arrange a swift appointment 🤞Great work making a start on your C.. shopping 👏 & hopefully in your travels you will find the elusive black trousers.
Crazycatlady2, hope you didn’t scare your DD too much 😉
What a glorious day nannywindow 😊 Warmed the cockles of my heart to read that & thank you for sharing 😊 Well done on the decluttering 👏 As to the flu jab, I will sort it out when I have a few more things to do 😉 Thanks for the birthday wishes for DSis.
Back later to finish cheerleading.
