I finished the box 😁 All I kept was a pencil. More bits and bobs for cs and in mmas bag. And the rest of the tat binned.

Box has been torn up ready to be recycled.

Wow, there’s been a lot of decluttering going on in here! I’m back to work, so doing the usual trying to work full time and fit in the hundreds of things I need to do. I’m trying to spring clean at least one thing a day, do a little bit of tidying and tick one thing off my home to do list. I’m hoping eventually the list will go down and I can do a bit less. I can hope anyway…

DS’s rooms is almost done - I just have a chest of drawers left. The kitchen is pending Friday for my delivery of various containers. DD’s room is going slowly and I’m partly avoiding clothes as it’s just a big hassle to sort out all the time! Too much growing going on..

Anyway, a bit of progress:

4724 - 30 - DD soft toys
4731- pen used up
4732-33 - DD clothes grown out of
4734- DD toys
4735 - packaging

I need to start relisting things on buy nothing/eBay soon. Charity shop is waiting for my bag to fill up a bit more.

 Hahaha roundtuit. My son had one of those boxes with a wooden beetle in it.

 Black trousers purchased but not tried on. 

 Every time I go out I intend to buy a box of matches and forget. I want to put them with some candles in a box for my Mum in case we have power cuts. Arthritis means she doesn’t have the strength to use a lighter or a stove lighter thingy. 

 As well as falling to see a Doctor, we have also failed so far to get a Covid vaccine. Must try harder.

Covid and flu vaccine on my to do list but haven't got a day when I can cope with 24 hours not feeling well.
££ decluttered to Dd1 and will be ongoing for abit meaning have to keep working.  Finding it hard at work so no energy for decluttering.
Had days leave and went to fantastic mending / sewing days.  Made a glasses case and know how to mend a bag and lovely people but still did a few hours work:(
Loving hearing about others decluttering and imagining myself doing this in the new year

Morning all xx 

What's the betting that next week, when I have to get up for work, I'll want to sleep til 8! I woke up at 5.40 this morning. An improvement on 4.50 but still a tad early. 

I brought down a bag of books from the RoD - my books this time, not DS's. And discovered a keyboard and monitor on the desk top behind the bag. DS reliably informs me that the PC in RoD is Windows XP. If you say so, son. I wonder if it still works? 🤔 

While the kettle was boiling for my brew I tore up the cardboard box from yesterday's delivery. Too flimsy to reuse as a receptacle for cs donations - so fer-ling....

Bin men come today. Bye bye videos. Bye bye plastic tat. 😊

I wonder what's in this bag. When it comes to books I'm aiming for 50% reduction but that may be optimistic. I do love books.

Well, you live and learn. I expected that to be r-e-a-l-l-y difficult. And it wasn't. Picked out one book at a time - keep or donate. And there's 9 to keep and 9 to donate.  Just like that. 50% reduction. 
I'm actually amazed by myself 🤣

In case anyone's wondering the books are all about Christian living / worship. Except for one, which has pictures of cats in it. Random 🤷‍♀️

11 books to keep including 6 written by Alistair Maclean that I want to re-read. (There'll be more of his novels somewhere), and two books of poetry written by friends, one now sadly deceased by her own hand.

12 books to donate. Again mostly on Christian living, but a couple on diets.

One Pokemon fact file stripped back to bare essentials (removing all DS's scribblings) - cs

One notebook - removed used pages and added notebook to stash.

I think I'll have another brew.

I'm not expecting the reduction of my classics and children's books to be this easy. But at least some books are leaving the house 😊
