Okay, so it took for Tiggy to wake me up at 2am, then read the most supportive posts. And at approx 2.30 am I did it !
I went to Experian and found out exactly how much I owe. It was pretty much as I thought, very uncomfortable to see, but great relief at dealing with this frog. Now the planning starts.
To all those that offered their hands for holding, the encouragement, the cheer-leading, my sincere gratitude. You have no idea the difference it made. I thank you all.
I have other good news....
2 bags out so 2/70

Just caught up.
Bala, well done both with the bags and the frog. And I know that putting off checking out how big an issue is doesn't stop you worrying or imagining it is bigger than you think and can be reassuring that what you think is correct.
Thank you for motivating me to.tackle.things when back home later today.
I like the idea of wrapping paper and gift bags in a clear suit cover. I have bag of.gift bags in spare wardrobes,.gift wrap under different beds and chests and Xmas wrap in 2 of the decoration boxes. Small family for Xmas pressies and friends do just.birthdsy so do have excess and will see if I can cull when I belatedly put decorations away.
I've been in the buffet car all this week and indulging for the full 12 days of Xmas!

Morning all. Well done @balabooberlies for eating that Frog 👏 See, it wasn't so scary after all 😉
De-christmas'd the house last night and ended up having to declutter our lights from the tree. Literally had then turned on 5 minutes before we started removing the decorations and as soon as we'd unwound them from the tree, the cable snapped 😆 Cable is really thin and DH didn't want to risk trying to repair them and have a fire hazard so out they'll go at the weekend.
Not a lot planned for today other than deep cleaning the bathroom later on, and I have a dentist appointment later where I'm hoping there won't be too many issues. Very lucky to have found a dentist I like who understands my nerves and is very patient and kind.

Happy birthday Fizz, I hope you had a good day!I have added something a bit stronger than tea to the trolley to celebrate🥂🍷🍾Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.11

Greetings! What a lot of reading to get through!Mothernerd - i’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you’re being kind to yourself, and that you have all the help and support you need, for as long as you need it xOne week into the New Year and I’m off to a good start. Much mind-mapping and planning, Mrs SD 😃 I am never going to manage to do everything I want to do this year.I had my second restorative dental appointment yesterday – a teeth-ringing deep clean for the unGodly price of £135😳 On the recommendation of the hygienist, I bought an electric toothbrush - luckily it was less than half price in MrS - my favourite price! 😂
I managed 2 quite formidable walks this week; and enjoyed them! Pacing pays off! I haven’t had to do much else this week as maintenance decluttering is very, very low. I was just trying to remember why I went on two walks and the first one was to have a chest x-ray to check everything is alright after my little incident in October. They feel okay 😉 🏔
i’m planning to do some cooking this weekend – I bought a lot of reduced fruit and veg this week. I’m drinking a really peppery Virgin Mary at this moment and enjoying crunching on some 20p celery - my Fantasy Life! 😉 I think I shall I have mocktails every Friday! Maybe the real thing at the end of the month?Attempting to do a data dump across all my devices and streamline that part of my life! If I’m not back for a few days, it’s probably because I accidentally deleted too much 😂😂
happy Friday - 1 week down, 51 to go 😃 Pace yourselves and plan lots of rewards! Dress up while you’re decluttering, wear perfume, drink silly drinks, plan outrageous trips 😉 😂😂😂19 -
well done @balabooberlies . If you've not done this before, have a quick look at the debt free wannabe board. There'll be suggestions for other people that nay apply to you that you can just read for now, you can dip your toe in without wetting your fingers for now..For the most part, they are all very supportive and helpful about steps you can take to reduce your debt. Really would be worth you looking there. It might save you some pennies....and help your confidence..
