Although the ingredients for baking powder appear to be gluten free, the factory where it is processed might also handle products with gluten so there's a possibility of cross contamination. @Gers Ingredients you've listed are all theoretically gluten free but if the rice and maize (corn) were processed into flour in a factory that handles gluten then there's the possibility of cross contamination. I had done a bit of research about this early last year.M&S baking powder's ingredients are:Raising Agent: Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate (E500)Waitrose's are:Baking Powder (raising agents (disodium diphosphate, sodium hydrogen carbonate), rice flour).Dr. Oetker (in Tesco):Raising Agents (E 450 (Diphosphates), E 500 (Sodium Carbonates)), Maize StarchSainsbury's:Disodium Diphosphate, Sodium Hydrogen Carbonate, Rice FlourMorrisons':Raising Agents (Diphosphates, Sodium Carbonates), Rice FlourSo, only M&S has gluten free baking powder. Haven't looked at other brands.
