I will heed your advice and take some time off either as leave (I have plenty or sick leave). I completed a work stress risk assessment last night and will be discussing with my manager.
I feel I have reached my limit and often feel overwhelmed with work pressures and its spilling over into home life. Something has to give before I make myself ill xxMy dd2 (11) sees a school counsellor. They have discussed 'black balls', which are problems you have, which you then pass on to others. (So, if I'm angry with my husband, I may take it out on the dishes.) Back at home, we have discussed that people may have more than 1 black ball, but you won't know about it until the ball they pass you is the one they can't hold anymore. Communication is important! For me, this analogy helps me 'split' the problems, instead of just feeling overwhelmed in general. I can see who gives me a black ball and what I do with it.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5910 -

How quickly life can change. Less than half an hour after my last post a friends husband turned up on my doorstep telling me she had been missing for 24 hours. She has a very hard life and MH issues. All plans for the day dropped and a friend and I searched the country paths she used.(we live in the country and she was on foot). A very anxious day was had by all until the police found her that evening and took her to the hospital Physically Ok but mentally in a very bad way.
Yesterday I was still shattered (dog getting up in the night did not help) Managed to bag books for CS and put gas light onto free cycle. That is being picked up today.
Love and hugs to everyone. Tell someone today how much you care XX
Enough money to live on so retired early...planning to see where life takes me:D15 -
Oh my goodness teacher girl. What a dreadful situation. Thank goodness she is found. I do hope your friend can feel better soon. X
Strangely I noticed a young woman this morning sat on a pallet on the top garden/ disused lane. It doesn’t go anywhere and is just a strange place for a stranger to be. She was soaked and talking to herself a little and blowing her nose. I went out and asked her if she was ok. She slightly aggressively said yes. She sat there about half an hour then just went. Not anything to phone the police about but just odd.You just never know what troubles people have.Siebrie black balls is a great technique. I had a sack of them I could have given away yesterday.Weenancy well done on your award. All your friends here over the pond all recognise what a superior person you are. X
I am sorry if I don’t acknowledge everyone’s news. I somehow regularly seem to miss pages of the thread.Love to all Vx:11 -
So glad that your friend has been found safe @teachergirl and that she’ll get more help from the professionals

I decluttered some hair today as I finally got my hair cut and it hadn't been done since April. He cut about 2/3 inches off the length and quite a bit around the feathers at the front and it feels, well, not short, but shorter. It does look healthier.
I redid our monthly budget today and I decluttered some more paperwork in the process. I realised that Virgin Media is still taking money out when they shouldn't be (it was less than £15 a month so I didn't notice!) but on the upside that our outgoings are not as bad as I thought. There should be some wiggle room when the energy bills increase in the winter.
I read through the preparing for winter thread on here today and just had a horrible thought. I decluttered some curtains to the charity shop this week and I just remembered that I had been keeping them to make door curtains for the winter. So annoyed at myself! *Groan*

@Wednesday2000 which thread is it you are referring to Preparing for winter please?
Well I've been decluttering my time ( and face just now of facial hair!) catching up with you all. Some small items have been moved from the house junk drawer. Items to the bin to DH shed, into like with like locations.
The frogs have turned into Princes for DH as he has been awarded some support for his health.
Has anyone else had updates on how the £400 winter fuel support is to be applied on your account?
Turns out that Octopus are reducing the DD accordingly when the extra support is appliedI can't get my head round it, why not leave the DD alone and add the extra as advertised as it is needed, it clearly is likely to be gobbled up quite quickly. I feel like it is deliberately putting us into debt.
Anything is better than nothing-check back and see
