738 & 9 - 2 x refillable pens
740 - returned something faulty to TK Maxx - I had to be quite persistent as the manager wasn't listening to me properly - item was miscut but he thought I was returning it because there were threads on it so couldn't see the very obvious miscut. Anyhoo we both stayed calm and pleasant and got there in the end.
Heard from the company fitting my blinds - they should be with me next week - which is a relief as having paper / sarongs etc at the window ias makeshift coverings -s not helping keep the heat out. My living room was like a furnace this morning- I had to work from the backroom/kitchen. Still - I am officially NOT complaining about the weather
741. dentist
742 & 3 - 2 x bracelets - put aside for a friend - if she doesn't want them will give to CS
744. Earrings - ditto
745. Ring - ditto
746 - bag of scrap silver
767. velvet flower brooch
768. Arranged dental appointment for DS since I was there anyway (& it will save me hours of nagging him to do it)
teachergirl - hoping this gets resolved soon - appalling customer service.

Hugs to everyone having a hard time IRL just now. Hope everyone finds some small piece of mind from sharing via this forum.Weekend a bit busy with DH’s birthday so less done than usual but did manage to declutter a few things while doing my weekly shop:
7) 3 bags soft plastic recycled
8) small bag batteries recycled
9) 3 tetra packs recycled
10) dozen or so disposable coffee cups recycled at Costa
Good news on the DH birthday present front. All purchases this year from me / family were either consumable (cider) or experiences (tickets for rugby / theatre) so no unneeded / unwanted extra clutter came into the house 👍
(actually that’s not quite right. I did buy 1 DVD but I’m trying to count that as an experience too 🤞)
Take car everyone.10 -
Hello. I fell back into the TLC carriage - it's very comfortable in there and you meet some lovely people 💕
I've had a marathon catch up session reading the thread so that I was ready to step back onto the EDT .... and it made me smile to see what a wonderful and supportive community you are.
Not entirely sure when I last posted - but pleased to report that things have (finally) started to leave the building. Two bags of books have been taken to cs (gift aided). Two bags of books plus 3 storage (tea/coffee/sugar) jars have been passed on to L's sister who is involved with a church thrift shop in the city. A bag of bits - Gameboy charger, wireless adapter, memory stick and random gubbins including a bag of marbles and a bulldog face mask??? - taken by DS when he last visited.
Oh. And I decluttered Facebook and Messenger: they were disabled after I was hacked on 2nd June. As was my email account 😡. Reinstated my emails but not Facebook etc. Not sure I want to now someone else has been poking about in there. Cancelled my debit card. And informed the bank. All very stressful at the time.
I've enjoyed reading about your holidays and projects. And feeling inspired to continue.
Thank you
Rxx

After my early morning hunting and gathering in the sm today, out went 6 plastic and 2 cardboard fruit containers which are now in the recycling. I did a good deed this morning by helping a lady struggling to work out the price per 100gms of coffee so as to get the best value but then got it back at the till when the cashier gave me a bag of pears free because they wouldn't scan. 👼
The second pair of my lounge curtains have been washed and dried so the dust has been decluttered along with the fluff on the curtain rail. Both pairs are waiting to go back up, but as they are so heavy to lift and hook back on I shall ask DH to help. The cs bag has been collected, yippee ! Now I can't go back in there and change my mind 🤔 I emptied all the bins upstairs and downstairs and the contents are now in the rubbish bin which is out ready for collection tomorrow.
Vulpix I too would love an emergency cruise, I'd even go barefoot 😁
teachergirl hugs, I hope your cheque problem gets sorted asap. You're having an awful time, double grr on your behalf 🤬
Energyshifter good news re the blinds.
Roundtuit I found it very easy to stay in the TLC carriage, I had to give myself a good kick up the proverbial to get back on the train. Welcome back.
Take care all, hugs to everyone, stay safe and cool.

Me again!
Out 10 mugs. 2 cereal bowls. A griddle pan. That’s without actually trying. At least the remaining mugs fit in the cupboard now.Sold a stone column. Can’t find a home in the new garden for it.I am amassing a large pile of stuff for the tip on Friday. Damaged terracotta pots, a broken garden fork , metal bracket. Sure there will be more by Friday.Bit by bit , I am ok with the gravel now. 🤦♀️ I was too hung up over my plan. That’s the trouble when I’ve dreamed about it so long.Fingers crossed teachergirl. We are all rooting for you. X

Nothing was decluttered yesterday, i was invited round to a friend's and we sat in her garden chatting then had a BBQ and a few glasses of wine. It was wonderful but really brought home to me how anxious & stressed I am all the time. I've lived with it for so long it's my normal but it's a horrible way to live.
This evening, once the heat abated, I got to work emptying the large shed, lugging stuff into the garage and filling up the space I created for it all on Saturday. Retrieved an old glass oven dish which I'd only recently put in there but I wanted it to fill with water for the birds. Also found a reel of Sylko thread to go in my sewing basket and a toy watering can which has cleaned up like new and can go to the cs this week. So that's a tiny piece of extra space in there.
I got the sickle out and cut down another decent sized area of the hay meadow, previously known as a garden. I was joined by a juvenile blackbird which came within a couple of feet of me, hunting for food.
Came in and washed off all the dust, hay and cobwebs and am now on the sofa about to eat some icecream.7 -
Popped round to mums after work just for 10 minutes. Met DD2 there . I needed help emptying a high cupboard! Holy moly! That’s my tidy floor untidied! Most of it is empty boxes that can get recycled or a photo frame /picture that can go to charity shop. A job for another day! I just needed her there to grab stuff as I balanced up a ladder!8

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedMonday has been unbearably hot 🥵 with not a breath of wind. DH went out, travelled by bus to pick up some Eastern Caribbean Dollars & some US Dollars for our trip to St Lucia + picked up his prescription. DSis was in her room all day trying to stay cool. I sorted my mail, watered the garden & made dinner. Roast pork with crackling, roast potatoes, cauliflower & cabbage - I know not an ideal meal for a hot day 😉 Wudupa.
1078 - 1079 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans - recycled

I'm decluttering as I'm walking through the house, never empty-handed. Even if it's just 1 item, that's better than it was before.DDs were taught a lesson on Sunday, when it was lovely weather and we didn't go anywhere. I had asked them on Saturday to put their bed linens in the laundry basket, but they didn't. I asked them again on Sunday morning before going to church, but they didn't. I insisted on Sunday after lunch, and then we had to wait 90 minutes for the washing machine to finish and hang the laundry out to dry, then had to wait another 90 minutes for the second load of laundry to finish and hang out to dry. Those 90 minutes were too short to go anywhere 'nice' as they wanted. That their behaviour (not doing the chores immediately) has consequences was a hard lesson for them to grasp.I file this under 'decluttering unwanted behaviour'.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5918

Out. 2 plastic buckets
A ripped shopping bag
Half an oak barrel sold
Wood and Victorian sink bracket given
Away.Under the kitchen table are all the materials that I have bought to complete projects on the house. I shall make a start. Perhaps by painting the back door. It is uvpc but a friend who has a window and door company says as long as it is clean it will be fine. Actually at the last house I painted 2oak colour inside window frames white. All the others were white, odd to have just 2 oak colour.Even though it’s hot I am on a roll to tidy up. I can’t wait for my son to visit in a few weeks. They moved into their first house last week end. First ever garden. He is keen to grow stuff so a lot of plants will go home with him. Actually we have an arm chair that belongs to him. We have been looking after it for about 6 years. Ever since he went to work in Canada. We took it on a road trip to his flat when he came back and it wouldn’t go through the door !
I didn’t realise your holiday was imminent Mrs SD. I look forward to hearing all about it.Vx:6
