Mrs. S_D, last time I drove in San Francisco in a car it was hair-raising too. Hope you can enjoy a relaxing day there. My favorite thing to do is have a hot fudge sundae at Ghirardelli chocolate - but it's not for everyone. Have fun.8

Love the holiday updates @Mrs_Salad_Dodger.Not much decluttering happening here as DD is ill. Stayed up with her all night last night as was so worried about her and looks like another all nighter again tonight. Am shattered, but really hope she gets over the worst of it soon. If I can just get her some decent sleep tonight, that will really help. So that’s my mission for tonight.

Just back from Pier 39, the sea lions are just as noisy & smelly as we remember 😉 Took in the atmosphere, enjoyed the sunshine & then had lunch - crab cakes followed by clam chowder in a sourdough bowl 😋😋 Cab back with a Chinese driver who preached to us about aliens, Armageddon & that J.C. was on the internet speaking through a lady called Katherine 😂 DH did well to hold his tongue although if he had said anything it would not have penetrated the magical fairyland that the gentleman inhabited 😉 DH almost got run over trying to get out of the cab 🤣
Couple of things from yesterday we saw a dozen or so raptors (eagles we think) + a couple of pelicans in flight. In about an hour we are meeting up with most of the group & going to a Dim Sum restaurant for a 6:00 p.m. booking as they close at 7:30 🙄
Hope the weather has improved 🤞864 uu lens solution bottle recycled

@EnergyShifter, I am veggie as well and b12 is a problem if like me you are a marmite hater
I have also had iron deficiency and now low b9, I have b12jabs every 12 weeks and have had to have iron infusions as the tablets just didn't do it despite eating the green veg and oranges so I would say try it but don't ignore it if the symptoms persist.
@Siebrie we don't generally eat horse in the UK, all sorts of other weird and wonderful things but not horse
@Floss, thank you for the suggestion, I will ponder it a bit longer. Physically she is fine but she was 20 weeks so emotionally she is struggling but is getting help so hopefully will be ok.
@Mrs SD, what a wonderful time you are having, can't wait to see some of your pictures.
Well it stopped raining for about 10 minutes so the bench was moved towards the front of the house but didn't make it into the car
Take care everyone10 -
Monday was rounded off nicely by our Chinese dinner at The House of Nanking. Although the 1.1 mile walk mainly uphill was a nightmare - DH & I are so unfit 😔 However the food was worth the walk - lots of varied dishes & I tried a bit of each - delicious 🤤 😋 The egg fried rice was completed at the table - a box be of rice on a really hot plate, egg mixture cooked using the heat of the plate & then mixed in with the rice - fantastic to watch 🙂 & delicious 😋 Lots of lively chat, some beer & wine. DH & I were sat next to our van driver Tim - such an interesting life & the more we chat the more we find out - after college, high school baseball coach, history teacher for a year then subbed for 3 years, 18 years of police work then retired/invalided out, wanted to be a chef but needed to work to save up for the course so gained his big rig driving licence but only lasted 6 weeks as no time with his family, then became a Tour Guide. Apparently he can cook but has no interest/skills for the business side ☹️ DH & I managed to get a cab back to the Hotel & arrived back about 8:15 p.m. We are just doing the last of the packing & are about to go to bed 😉

Hi! Hi! Hi!Down to 5 main areas.1. Clothing. My wardrobe looks amazing! 😃 Really comfortable, sustainable, co-ordinating groups of clothes. Even my laundry system has changed! Ever the Steve Jobs when it comes to fashion, I have my lounge/fitness/comfort wardrobe and my TotallyMe wardrobe - investment pieces, labels and lucky finds which will last a lifetime. 3 washes a week, washed and dried on the same day.I have a clothes rail of items that cannot be altered so some will listed and those that doesn’t sell will get swapped. There are some big green clothes fairs coming up in Soton.2. Furniture
4 items left. Hoping the Food Bank affiliate will pick up this week.3. TechToo much to deal with and not enough return for the effort. Donated all to recycling charity - 17 items to be refurbed and re-used - thousands of years of decomposition offset.
4. Charity/Fabric reclamation.1 sack of each - hoping to get rid of today.5. Sales. If I could get my carp together, I’ve got enough junk household items to sell, that would easily feed me for the whole of June and July. I also have about £10K of specialist interest memorabilia to shed.Help!8 -

Decluttered a TV and a laptop to a friend in need - feels like a good deed as well as clearer space. Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
