I'm down to only 24 items in my e-mail account, except for those I have put in different categories to save (family, genealogy, bills, kindle). Last check a couple of days ago my roommate had 17,500 in her e-mail account. I would go nuts.
I have very little in the way of clothes and cosmetics - have too little I think.
My main problems are paper and books. I am working on selling some of the books and I gave away two boxes yesterday.
If I could just get the roommates to clean up their messes, I would be okay.

Evening Peeps,
Been busy with RL and trying to work out what I have decluttered apart from my time in work doing extra hours. Then I remembered I have just completed the Plastic count which has run for 1 week. Not sure whether we should be proud or not as there is only the 2 of us. We logged 72 pieces. We had not been shopping so there would more likely be more. It has made us think of what is lying about though and shop more thoughtfully (this is decluttering before it gets in the house. If this happens again next year for comparison I will definitely take it on to do better
The store cupboards are certainly being shopped in and my OOD items are in reduction.
DH has installed the 250ltr water butt so we can declutter less from the water meter & bank account. Looks very tidy.
We will be spending a couple of days or so decluttering without anything leaving the workshop/shed as there are some previous purchased shelving that needs erecting and walls that need an extra coat of paint prior to installation and the big tidy up to take place. DH sort of becomes swamped with pressure when his space is untidy. I don't know why he lets it get like that. I will give him a time scale for completion and that will be before the TT is shown on ITV4
Keeping moving forward

@florianatwobob and @weenancyinAmerica can I have your help next , find it hard to keep under 1500 but don't use folders much,
Not getting much physical clutter out, squidgy cucumber, couple of frogs, argument with ChatChat broadband as I am certain they waived the penalty for leaving as v poor service but they said the listened to 3 calls and I've had dozens with them, but my new yorkshire based company after engineer came round as not great wifi - agreed to upgrade for free if I added a month to my contract! also chased up treatment for DD2 (not sorted but chased), no trades come back to my emails/calls last week
Going to my dad's house at the weekend and booked tip on Sunday and Monday and feeling v apprehensive but hoping we can make a dent, my DB is still matching the 26 remote controls to their respective bit of equipment!
Trying to do some tidying and decluttering the odd bit of rubbish etc in the evening . Another frog email 86111 -
@2Scratters i also did the plastic count. With three of us we accounted for 62 items. They didn't count plastic from mixed things like windowed envelopes or my count woyuld have been higher. We have been reducing our plastic influx over the last few years where possible; but it is tough.
Nothing out apart from the cat. temporarily rehomed with the MiL while we go away for 3 weeks. She (the cat) went early so she could settle in, she seemed happy enough when we left.
I did hit the back garden as it was overwhelmed with herb robert and dandilions. Sowed my food seeds which I hope will be plantable when I get back.
I also printed off all the documents as well as putting them on a shared cloud. If I don't sods law will mean I miss something or can't access somethng while away.
Got some stuff for CS tomorrow plus dropping off a load of chippings and pebbles to the allotment.

Hi all, I am awake early as I have a podiatrist appointment so I thought I would pop in to say hello. It has been a couple of weeks since I posted but I have been reading along.
Great to see Mrs SD is having such a fab holiday and wonderful to have had a get together with weenancy.
Since I last posted I have been a bit busy in fits and starts. OH 's nephew landed on us. He lives in Germany and works on the rigs in the north sea and he tested positive for covid. The company helicoptered him to Aberdeen and put him in a covid taxi, who knew they even existed, down to Liverpool. He stayed in OH's house which is empty as we are in the process of decorating it,(long story). We had to do a very quick organise there to get a bedroom ready for him and even though it was a bit chaotic with wardrobes on the landing etc he had a bed with clean sheets and clean towels in the bathroom, food in the fridge and freezer and even a tv. Luckily he wasn't very ill and we kept him in food with drop offs every couple of days. He did a bit of gardening to pass the time which was kind of him even though we told him to just rest I think he was a bit bored so we just said thank you and kept feeding himHe has now recovered and flown back to Germany but we are not going to the house for a week or so just in case.
I have also made some progress in the garden and managed to fill the green waste bin, still lots to do but it's a start. I have been out for tea with my ex colleagues, another good evening with lots of laughs.
I have to confess to 2 things coming in. Firstly an absolute treasure. Last year a very dear friend died from leukaemia, she was a quilter and while she was still not too ill but aware she was not going to recover she gifted a mutual friend E, a lot of her fabric stash as she is also a quilter. E found a mostly finished table runner in the stash and backed it and put a fabric label on detailing who had done what and gifted it to me. It is something I will always treasure as a remembrance of my friend, as soon as I saw it I knew it was her work as the colours are 'her'. Also the kindness of E to take the time to finish it for me was lovely.
The second thing I have taken in is a pile of logs. One of the trees in my road decided it had one large branch too many and dropped it across the road. The council tree cutters arrived at 1.30 in the morning to clear up with a chainsaw. As I was in my pjs I wasn't about to start running around the road picking up logs but luckily they just cleared the road and returned the next morning to finish and I asked for some logs. I offered them a cup of tea or coffee and they kindly chopped up the logs and put them in my front garden. I do need to move them into the back so after the podiatrist if the rain stays off I will do that today.
Well time to hit the shower and get organised
Take care everyone10 -
One more bag has gone to charity DSis had a cull of shoes that she’d no longer wear due to some foot issues.I’ve also discovered that our local community centre has set up a ‘Second Hand Room’ and are accepting donations. So after I’ve been to Pilates tomorrow (at the community centre) I intend to scout out the drop off point for future donations.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

WOW! that was some frog I think it was wearing lead boots. Job done and dusted for DH. Only time will tell if successful. Another one on the list for tomorrow. It all leads hopefully to some financial support/return. Not even cashed in the council tax letter
Think that will pay for Chippy tea tonight. Brain drained today.
