This has been a busy week. I've brushed the new dog so much, I think I could make another dog. Right now she is a very scruffy looking husky who is really shedding. One roommate found three of her missing library books when she finally cleaned up one stack of boxes - only 8 more missing books to go. Wouldn't let her go the Family History Center with me on Thursday. She has to clean up more in order to go - she gets a free lunch out from it from the person I am helping with research. The youngest roommate is going home to Missouri to see her sister for two weeks - her father has already agreed to help me clean up the room while she is gone, since she can't (Autistic, ADD, and Migraines). We'll see if he makes it. Spent two days rearranging used books at the library. Trying to sort them by subject for our big sale this month (two days, big space inside). Have put my class in using Publisher to work making a number of cards for relatives, people leaving the library, and an injured library employee (attacked in the library by a homeless man for no apparent reason - it was all on video and on the local news). Getting the agenda ready for our Friends meeting on Monday. The best part of this week was working at the Family History Centers (2 of them) and helping people - made some major breakthroughs on three people's family histories! Started one man on his on Thursday - and we already have over 2500 relatives in the computer file, including connections on several lines I was surprised we were able to make (had to do a lot of research as the connections aren't online anywhere). So I am feeling better about what I can do - family history is my specialty. Need to help roommate pack for trip and clean the yard this weekend.9

Morning all, looking forward to the clocks going forward so I don't wake up so early with the light and can declutter some tiredness.
Moved about 50% out of the room to decorate and 50% in the middle, sanded picture rail/skirting,french doors (but found crack in wood) and opening bit of windows not sure what to do as don't close properly, also some cracks in wall which is papered so need to check how best to fill. few minor things binned, and found DD1 GCSE certificates under the filing cabinet so now in a proper safe place as promised months ago! count as 5 so 500
dropped old cushion and bits in textile bank 501
Rang electrician and my DIY man to line them up - always put this off so frogs moving roofer who promised to email quote hasn't so may have to find another 503
Complaint resolved 504
Taken down curtains - a few stains (made for me with 70s inspired ikea fabric with duvet like thermal lining and DD1 doesn't like change so trying to see what I can do) - very large so costly to replace (CS hunting can't find anything big enough).
Watching videos on how to get orange (rust?) out of fabric and other DIY stuff time passes quickly8 -
Afternoon all, hope you're all enjoying the sunshine.
I've had a busy week decluttering all sorts of stuff, so haven't posted but have been reading along. Welcome to the newbies and a hug to anyone needing one.
DH had a preliminary look at the loft, looking for a sunlounger which he was giving to one of his colleagues. He didn't find it, but removed 3 large items which have now been removed from the house. The sunlounger was under the floor, but unfortunately nothing else was removed from there - another job to add to the list!
Another financial frog has been digested and another 2 lbs have been decluttered from me, very happy at that!
Very pleased with my progress, up to 539 items so ahead of target.
Have a good week and enjoy the sunshine while it's here.

@short_bird hope you're properly on the mend and negative soon, @EnergyShifter sounds very positive for DS
Not as much done as hoped, filled a few holes in skirting, sorting out spring/summer clothes and putting away winter -although I know getting colder again, but shamed by the no of clothes with tags on - admittedly some were for work but never gone back to the office.
DD1 was round and showed her a skirt to which she was negative, and when I asked whether colour or shape (as have a number like it), she said too numerous problems with it to mention, even after I'd told her to see it from a middle aged/getting older person and not a mid 20s. Made its way to the CS bag along with a piano book. Also some ood food 5098 -

florianatwobob said:@accidentalglixch it’s so nice when woofers get old enough to tell you what they need.As a teenager my bedroom was above the backdoor, when our dog was frantic for a wee I used to wake up to insistent little yips from downstairs (rather than his big woof).I remember regularly wandering through the house in the early morning with my eyes half closed trying not to bang into things to let him out and then standing, freezing, on the back doorstep for him to come back in before I crawled back to bed. I must’ve loved that dog.
Yeah a few night's I've resented having to go out in the freezing cold. I would be mean and ask the husband to do it but he looks after Remi in the day whilst i work upstairs so I feel bad if I do lmao
So far no accident's in the house so far! All going good.
Last weekend we started sorting the spare room / my office where our things is kept since moving in. We made good progress
and getting into a cleaning routine so we have more time with Remi at the weekend.
My new job sucks so I'm looking for a new one. I'm usually one for sticking it at for more than 6 months but the role just isn't for me...causing a lot of bad mental health, lack of support, I never leave on time and end up finishing 10 mins over shift, I have to make time back for going to the toilet outside of breaks (not good when you have a tummy bug).
Other reliable team members have reported that if you call in sick they don't take you seriously and threaten to get managers involved saying we have no excuse to call in sick as we work from home...one girl was laughed at because she sprained her ankle so bad, she couldn't walk for a few days meaning she couldn't get to the PC, we've had a massive pay issue, lack of support once on live calls...ect
And so I feel that it's not worth making my fibromyalgia worse with stress and mental health.
Anywhooooo....
