2022 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN MrsSD

Hello all, been busy today cleaning the spare bedroom, then sorting and tidying the craft drawers, again. Next I had another mad decluttering moment, even though I'd been through the spare room before, I still found stuff I really didn't need or want.
To the cs;-
3 dolls
A dolls blanket
A new body mist spray, didn't like it.
Children's jar of bubbles
Bag of crafting feathers
Up words game
Giant snakes and ladders game
Quiz Night game
Other
Tub of reusable screws, nuts and bolts ( lo from the x trainer ) to DH's shed
2 very old mobile phones.
About 1/2 an inch off my fringe, wondered why I was having trouble seeing properly 🤣
To the bin or recycling;-
A large plastic tub with lid
Small plastic bottle, no idea why that was kept
Manual from x trainer
Open bag of wild bird seed, BB 2020 😮🐦
4 UHT milk cartons, the contents went down the drain as they were OOD and chunky 🤢
........And for a final flourish Clumsy Clara struck again when I smashed a glass to smithereens, which was later followed by knocking a full cup of coffee all over the kitchen worktop, by me again ! 😱
Take care all, hugs to those in need/pain

624 - 648 - 25 x items of clothes and footwear! I'd better get this stuff out of the house sooner rather than later in case I retrieve more!! Also - full disclosure - I treated myself to a lovely jumpsuit that was in the Seasalt sale - 5 clothing items out today so that's more than balanced out and it's the only jumpsuit I own
649. Bin of shredded paper
650. Returned extra jumpsuit - (ordered 2 for size)
651 trousers
652 & 3 - 2 x necklaces
654. Alarm clock
655. set of beads
656. blanket
657. Poncho
658-660 3 x tops
661 & 2 - 2x pairs ski socks
663 & 4 - 2 x vintage dresses - They still fit but I'm never going to wear them again - I'll let someone else enjoy them
TC77 - The Naval College - what a gorgeous venue for your book club!
Wort & others - I agree - the poppies at the tower were breathtaking and very moving - I can see why those of you that have one - treasure it.

@EnergyShifter - actually the pub Old Brewery as you can sit outside when it gets lighter can walk over the heath and through the park.
Impressed by everyone doing so much and parting with much more than me. Took bag to CS and added another jumper (took other things out of the drawers but put back or in the wash - in better light can see the marks!) 472
CS also took 3 empty jewellery boxes/bags to display things 475
DD1 wanted cake tin so took few baking things, a filing box and covid tests to her 481
Welcome to newbies..... I remember joining mid year a few years ago. I am noticing a difference and avoiding imagining my house now if I hadn't

994-1005: items to bin and recycling (must restock preferred cough mixture)
Doing OK health wise, a little better every day. In isolation till 29th or 2 consecutive negative tests but those positives are showing up strong and clear...‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedWednesday stayed bright & sunny. DH had no luck with the bike. He has had to order a few bits & is hoping that Thursday is more successful 🤞Although I got meat from the freezer & had done nothing all day, I CBA’d to cook so DH & I had curry & DSis had Chinese - the added benefit is no cooking Thursday 😉 Started watching a new 6 part series called The Simpler Life - a 6 month social experiment - 24 people living like the Amish but in Devon - 2 episodes in & only 16 people left 😱
Thursday is another nice sunny & bright day. Just about to have my 2nd cuppa & will then stir my stumps & do something, anything off my To Do list 😔511 - 512 Kitchen recycling & detritus
florianatwobob hopefully the work will be done quickly & efficiently 🤞

In isolation till 29th or 2 consecutive negative tests but those positives are showing up strong and clear...Short_bird I had covid back in March 2020 worsened by an underlying chest infection (so quite unwell but fortunately not hospitalised). In this nice weather, if you are safely able to sit outside in the sun, I can recommend it helped me feel a lot better. Even if just reading a book. If the pollution levels aren't great, I also recommend a face mask to reduce the amount of gunk you breathe in.Stay safe and well but enjoy the sun everyone.
May you find your sister soon Helli.

@EnergyShifter ...well done putting some things back in the CS bag. Book club used to be top of a pub near the park but OBrewery we can be outside!
DD1 rang me to say she's worried I'm missing out on life (and have for years) trying to sort the house, telling me I should just move. Doesn't understand that I need to sort and decorate to be able to do this, but does remind me I need to speed up and not hum and ha over every item
Took exercise machine (v small) to CS - picked up from neighbour a few months ago and never used (like many things I've wombled or picked up cheap. Took a few other things, book, jewellery box, skirt and trousers (just felt otherwise too paltry an offering) . Found another jumper but needed washing, now washed dried and in new CS bag.487 swept up stuff in garden. 488
And forgot - 3 lids from storage boxes I no longer have, and extra large cat scratching post (2 parts). outside in the hope may be of use to someone but otherwise bin day tomorrow (count as 5) 493
Forgot yesterday 1 item sold, lots of packaging and posted.495 Forgot to take textile bag to CS
I think since counting frogs I have a false sense of how much is going out of the house, so may think of having 2 numbers but then more chance of me frequently forgetting where I am with any numbers!
@-taff and others in awe of how you did massive declutter as I plod on.
