The fortuitous charity bag that came through the door was filled and has now left the building. There are still some bits that need to go to the charity shop so they will head off this weekend.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

667-669: another 150 emails out
670-699: items to recycling or bin including the tired pan scourers, assorted packaging for food that's been cooked and frozen before the expiry date, envelopes...
700-702: mixed materials and paper recycling out along with a bag of rubbish.
703: decluttered new second job after 5 hours, it wasn't working for me
Apart from that, 15 no spend days and have demolished all the ice cream in the house!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I loved the Laura Ingalls Wilder books as a child, I still have mine somewhere, never to be decluttered even though they are falling apart, I read them so often.
I achieved very little other than paid work today, but I got through lots of that, so hope to finish a little earlier tomorrow as I have hours banked. Therefore a slightly longer weekend on the decluttering train.
I have almost completed online food shop for this weekend, I was wide awake at 4am this morning so put time to good use.

@Vascodakarma, hope you're feeling a little better and getting some support.
Instead of asking DD to do stuff I've been noticing my things lying around, elastic bands, pens, clips, paper etc. Some paper recycled, some filed, bits put with their friends (like with like), its slow work. Yesterday took rag bag and proper CS bag to CS. Added another 8 items. Also saw v long curtains, they set them aside and I brought one home today (V heavy) only to find about 10 inches too short - needed 135 instead of 125 inches! Will take it back tomorrow and as feel bad will take a coffee set and few other things that I had listed for sale. Moving the few things and binning small bits does make a difference but quite painstaking.
305,
also plastic sandwich box lid DD2 melted in microwave. My bestand remembered when I dropped food off to DD1 also gave her some odd shampoo of hers, a few small things, spare wifi extender , iron etc 310
Hugs , and hope everyone being kind to yourselves. Back at work but taking it slowly although then goes to evening x11 -
Still decluttering to find space for a crate for the husky my roommate brought home . Poor dog is having to spend the nights in one of our bathrooms. Too rambunctious to be out in the house most of the day, so spends the day in our yard. Will have to put up gates and the crate this weekend. I can't walk the dog until she is trained as she has already pulled me down. Fortunately a bush helped break my fall but I now have a black eye, bruises all over, and not moving very fast. So some forced decluttering on the way. Just feel sorry for the dog.9

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 5 tasks
2. Deal with Old Frogs & potential frogs ASAP but at least one on FROG Fridays.
3. Reduce/Restrict time watching TV and playing AB2 during daylight hours 😉
4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Thursday’s weather has been very changeable. DH dismantled the bed & we rolled up the last bit of carpet. I vacuumed the bedroom floor & we have laid the mattress directly on the floor. We have not been notified when the carpet & carpet fitters are turning up 😔 I used my newly purchased long radiator brush to dust the inner parts of the bedroom radiator 🙂 Then thought I would get various cleaning products & cloths from under the kitchen sink & clean bedroom windows, wash/wipe down window sill & all the newly painted skirting boards & door. The best laid plans & all that 😔 I started to gather together the bits I needed only to discover that there was a leak from the water outflow pipe 😬 A small one admittedly & only recent as nothing was ruined. So I emptied the cupboard & then DH dismantled the pipe - two sinks & the washing machine connection. Now I thought I had been careful but the pipes were all gunked up & stank to high heaven 🤢 DH thoroughly cleaned everything but a couple of the gaskets were beyond revival. So the hunt was on - DH was unable to source replacement gaskets so had to buy a ‘2 bowl waste & overflow kit’ He did it C&C from Scr*wf*x & bought 2 kits then did a small sm shop. Then DH put everything back together - 1st running of water & there was a very tiny leak, DH undid the pipe, re-sited a gasket & 2nd running of water resulted in no leakage. We have left a sheet of kitchen roll under the pipe & will make sure the repair has been successful before I clean the cupboard & put everything back whilst also culling the contents. Needless to say the bedroom cleaning never happened 😔 DH & DSis had the 2nd half of last night’s Chinese for dinner whilst I finished off the last portion of cottage pie from the freezer. Wudupa.281 - 283 Kitchen recycling, plastic bottle, newspaper - recycled
284 Kitchen detritus binned285 - 287 Carpet & the 2 old waste flow sets - added to Tip pile
Siebrie hope you & your DDs enjoy your stay with your parents 🙂 Also hope that your purse doesn’t take too much of a battering 🤞😉 Not too impressed with your sister selling your book sets 😖 especially as you are returning items you borrowed 👏
Great work Happy_Kitties 👏Great decluttering florianatwobob 👏Good work EnergyShifter 👏 Hope you popped into The TLC Carriage after your MOT day 🙂Excellent decluttering short_bird 👏 Well done on decluttering the 2nd job before it had a chance to affect your health & well being 🙂Sorry to hear you are not sleeping well, Guineapigsqueaks ☹️ but well done on making use of the time 😉👏Excellent work TC77 👏 spotting things & dealing with them straight away 🙂 All the little things soon add up & you are now looking around with a declutterers eyes 👏🙂Ouch weenancyinAmerica 🤕 surely the roommate should be responsible for the husky 🤔 rather than you risking life & limb 😔 I also feel sorry for the dog, although he is lucky that he has you to look out for him 🏅MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedFriday is a gloriously sunny day but oh so very cold out of the sunshine 🥶 DH got a message about 09:10 advising the carpet fitters would be with us in half an hour. So we moved the mattress into the bathroom & I vacuumed the floor again. Had just unplugged the hoover when there was a knock on the door 09:39. By 09:41 the gripper rods were being hammered in & the underlay was carried upstairs & laid by 09:55. The 2 chaps then carried the carpet up & by 10:10 they had finished, been paid & were on their way 👏 looks wonderful & complements our colour scheme (we are normally not very good with colour schemes) I have vacuumed once already & also dusted around the skirting board. DH is currently building & fitting the radiator cover. Then I will move in & damp wipe the skirting boards, remove the odd blobs of emulsion from the window sill, clean the windows & vacuum a 2nd time. DH will then build the 2 units that we bought to store my yarn stash. The bed will be last to be rebuilt, after I have washed & polished the wood frame.

Congratulations on your new carpet Mrs SD! I love a new carpet, especially the smell :-).
I have finished work for the week and packed it all away until Monday. A set of bed linen stripped, washed, dried and back on bed today, one less job for weekend. Lovely builder has been, he thinks about £150 for roof repairs, so no need for insurance claim, one less frog. Hopefully coming Monday to do, as long as it's not raining.
I have some sliced potatoes, onions and garlic baking in stock and milk in the oven, will do some fishcakes and veg with it for tea. Another cuppa I think, then a list of tasks to keep me busy. I am watching the terrible situation in Ukraine on the news and feeling very saddened and helpless.
