DD1’s belongings are on their way to her new home in the removal van. She is camping out at her house for the time being. She has been able to reschedule her ferry crossing. So far so good. 🤦♀️ Luckily she is not too ill with Covid.I have given away the Sanderson fabric. I can’t think of a use for it at the moment.Sorry not to comment much on posts. I don’t enjoy typing on my phone.Vx:16

TC77, I agree it has been a very interesting conversation about how we each dispose of cards 🙂 Seeing the inside of other peoples houses can be a great incentive to declutter 😉

Such a lot to catch up on. So sorry to hear of your losses and struggles. It’s not been the greatest of times.I’m preparing to do an almighty mental health dump with a psychiatrist on the phone today. I rang the mental health line about three weeks ago - just can’t cope with the constant anxiety when, technically, I have nothing to be anxious about.Bought myself a nice planter to transplant my beautiful bargain generic grass that I bought last year. Also I need somewhere to dump Old Lady Cat’s ashes - 2 birds with stone 🤷♀️
Even Charlie has had enough of me - he tried to fake his own death last week. I wish I could sleep as deeply as he does.16 -

Hello 👋
not been around for a few days as we went away in our caravan, it was made in 1991 and we bought it last summer and completed renovated on a tight shoe string. It was very exciting to get away to Bath in it 😀
So not much decluttering since I was last here …
819 -822 leaflets from noticeboard
823-824 2 sales on eBay
825-826 packaging reused for above
Tried printing the postage via eBay for the first time today and I’m pleased to say that all went smoothly, dropped the packages off at the post office as usual, but saved 30p per parcel. That will add up if I do it every time - only making a small amount on each sale so 30p a time is gratefully received.Tackled a 🐸 … cleaned the washing line so I could hang washing out there. Typically there’s been a couple of showers since , but hopefully things might blow through.

I'm so busy at work this week, compounded by being off on leave last week I think.
Anyway, I am ploughing on. Have managed to speak with lovely builder who we have used often in the past although not recently re: my AWOL roof slates. He is going to pop to see me in a few days to at least make sure it's safe and give me idea of cost to repair so we can decide if insurance claim required.
I have decluttered pile of soft plastics to supermarket, shredded and disposed of latest paperwork pile I had sorted out, ousted a birthday gift and card from stash to work colleague. 2 x WM today and most through tumble dryer and put away, rest on clothes horse. So at least laundry basket isn't groaning.

4. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedSorry 😞 forgot to post yesterday. So Wednesday - the weather was ok, mainly dry with a slight breeze. I helped DH take up the rest of the bedroom underlay & carpet - binned some of the underlay. The rest of the underlay & carpet is rolled up & will either be taken to the tip or binned a bit at a time. One strip of carpet is still on the floor at my side of the bed - protecting my delicate tootsies 😉😉 DH also filled the bird feeders. I fried up the last of the spaghetti Bolognese for my lunch. Wrote up a couple more recipes. Dinner was Chinese. Wudupa.
Thursday is wet & breezy - miserable weather to go with the miserable news about UkraineThe recycling wheelie bin has been emptied - the 2 week gap was obviously a blip. DH has just zizzed the peelings & is feeding the worms - now the rain has stopped & the sun is out 🙂277 - 278 Kitchen recycling, cardboard packaging - recycled
279 - 280 Kitchen detritus, some underlay - binnedNice to see you Vascodakarma - sorry that you are struggling 😢 Hopefully your chat has helped & you have been given some useful coping tools 🤞What an absolutely gorgeous photo - but I did fall off the sofa at your description 🤣So true bit_by_bit 🙂 not sure I have ever seen a cat so relaxed 😌Sounds like a lovely & very MSE mini break donna73 🙂 Good decluttering 👏 Well done on sorting out a cheaper way of posting sold items 👏 You have already saved 60p, so it will soon mount up 🙂 Also well done on tackling a frog 🙂Great decluttering EnergyShifter 👏
Hopefully the builder can fit you in sooner rather than later Guineapigsqueaks 🤞Great decluttering 👏 & your laundry basket must be dancing a jig 🤣MrsSD 🏅🏅🏅🏅 🌟 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️I AM A STAR 🌟

Will be visiting my parents for the spring break, with my 2 dds. Husband has tried to see if he could join us, but he has too much work to do where he needs to be in the office(s) physically (2 banks are merging, he has to make sure the IT is merging, too). So: I will take 3 handmade benches with me in the car to be returned to ex-BIL who made them. Also, a toddler toy which my sister lent to my dds 12 years ago with the message that she wanted it back whenever her children started procreating. Her eldest is now 24 and living with her boyfriend, so it's time the thing goes back.On the other hand, I had lent 2 series of books to her daughters (House on the Prairie - 13 books in Dutch translation, very hard to collect - and Harry Potter - 7 books) that I also wanted back if her daughters had lost interest, which my mother informed me have been sold. Ah well, the library stores the Potter books, and Laura Ingalls is still available in English.DD1 (13) had a tantrum at 7 this morning (!) that none of her sweaters were nice enough to wear to school. When I pointed out that she had at least 8 sweaters in her closet, she said they were all too small or too childish. Well, they have no business being in her closet if they are, which I have regularly pointed out to her; if they are in her closet it's because she wants them to be there. So, now she has 1 sweater that she wears almost every day (2 days before spring break only, luckily). It's a good thing we're going somewhere with lots of affordable shops! And time to go shopping! Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5911
