Another one here that likes a waffly diary ๐๐๐ and a diary that covers lots of different subjects as they make interesting reading. Unlike mine where I just chat about chickens, chickens, ducks and more chickens ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
I always like it when you end a post with, Mr Cheery has just run me a bath because I know you will finally put your phone down๐๐๐ and have a relaxing soak with a book perhaps. After all your hard work Cheery it's nice to know you do actually get a bit of time to yourself.

I have just looked up my water bill and it seems I pay it over 8 months, which is rather bizarre. Also shows how spendy I was being in December and January that I didn't notice ยฃ30 odd didn't come out both monthsย

Thank you all for being enthusiastic about waffle diaries ๐ I do love a waffly diary as well ๐ And I can't help but waffle on myself ๐๐
Funny old day today. A couple of unexpectedly cheery teaching sessions. Bit of period pain today but mostly my new tablets held up. I did come home at 5 though (I was going to stay later) and I'm glad I did, cos it meant I could have a bath (there you go edwink! ๐๐) I confess I don't always put my phone down when I'm in the bath ๐ but I did today - I watched an episode of Father Brown instead ๐
Curled up on the sofa now, and Mr Cheery won't be home for a couple of hours so I'm going to let Father Brown do his thing while I delve into both my emails and the banking...14 -

I'm done. Went through emails, and paid the final invoice from the builder. He sent it on 5th Dec - I'd paid the bit he asked for before, and said I'd pay the final bit once everything was finished. I was expecting him to ask for it after the electrician, but he still hasn't. However, it was still hanging around at the back of my head, so I've paid it and sent him an email. It was just under ยฃ400, which I had sitting in the dregs of the kitchen fund.ย
Payday on Friday, so bank account itself not looking too healthy, although the budget in YNAB is fine. Saved the extra from the insurance fund, so currently sitting at ยฃ350 savings for this month, plus ยฃ215 in extra dosh, from the power cut cheque.ย
Not done any MB this month, all mental energy has been on the job form, but that's in next Monday, so I'll have a bit of a focus on MB after that for the final week of the month. Not even looked at Prolific, might pop and do that now. It would be good to make an extra ยฃ35 from those things, that will give me a total of ยฃ600 to add to savings for Feb which is a nice number!ย16 -
Probably a good thing to step away from the MB stuff while your head is full of the work form I would think!ย๐ MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 ๐ And now we go againโฆNew mortgage taken 01/09/23 ๐ก

Covid geezer due this afternoon so that'll be another set of vouchers. Not printed off the last lot yet. Not sure I'm going to be doing the finger pick test this time - the last twice I've not been able to give enough blood and last time it actually hurt for days which I don't need now with all this typing. There's no extra money for it anyway, and it takes forever!ย11 -
I tend to only follow the 'non_judgemental' chatty diaries, where I feel at home. I had a bet with myself to see how long it took for someone to click as to who I am. Days I think IIRC.
i feel for those who are spotted by in laws etc. I try not to post views about others for this reason.ยMy mortgage free diary:ย https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese
