Yep, our loo is down one set of stairs and then up a different set, so there is a lot of complaining from me here! Fortunately my bladder is still pretty reliable so I often don't need to go at night but I do moan about it when I do 😂5

Did I say my new boots have arrived and don't fit?? 🙄 Well. The foot fits, but the calves won't do up 😱😂 clearly I was quite a lot thinner when I had them last time... 🙄 Seller doesn't mention returns so I'll need to get in touch with them tomorrow 🙄4 -

I’m with you Beanie. There was a point at which I was going 4/5 times a night but fortunately that’s improved. But it was a requirement (and still would be if we were looking) of any house we considered buying that there was an upstairs toilet.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Oh I know Beanie 😊😊 Whatever room you're in (except the living room) there are steps to the bathroom 🙈🙈 It's a menace 🙄
Good news today - Mr Cheery's bank incentive arrived today, so that's another £175 in the pot 😃 Very pleased with that!4 -
This house, our previous house and any future house have to have a toilet on each floor.
For decades including 2 pregnancies I did not need to go to the toilet during the night. About 2 years ago I now wake up nightly needing to go to the toilet, I am not impressed. I do wonder if it has now become a habit 🤔Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent

Hope you feeling better... I live in a London flat so my toilet is indeed on the same level as everything !
Good news on the bank switchDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

When we were looking to move many moons ago we decided that as we were getting older and it was going to be our forever home it needed to be on one level but didn't want to live in a flat so we just looked at bungalows which is where we are now 20+ years later! The only problem is that it's on an unmade road and over the last few years the road has become full of potholes so now it's nigh on impossible to walk on so have to drive everywhere. So looks like if we get to the stage where we can't drive then we'll have to move as even taxis won't come up to where we live!5

It's one of the many joys of my new house for me that the loo is upstairs. Previously it was a long walk down crooked stairs and 3 rooms to get there, and it was such a pain at night that I avoided liquid from about 7pm onwards 😂Live the good life where you have been planted.
