I never usually have much luck in charity shops, but today I bought two wonderful things. My daughter spotted a very trendy (apparently,I wouldn't know, She's 14) jumper /tank top thing which was £8 so a bit expensive but I thought I'd heard of the brand & its pure wool in perfect condition . It from a brand called Toast & when I checked website I was shocked to see their new jumoers selling for £140++!!. The I found a really old heavyweight blanket big enough to go on our kings size bed for £10. I washed it on a cool wool wash & its cleaned beautiful. I googled it as it has a strange label about the purchase price "National Price Controlled Blanket" also noting it weighs 4 1/2lbs & originally cost 33/8. I reckon its from the 1940' 's. It mush have been stored well. Very pleased as it will add warmth to our bed in winter.11

Can anyone recommend a decent chazzer experience in Coventry? Last time I was there I went through the town centre shops identified by Google and was sorely disappointed. No man is worth crawling on this earth.
So much to read, so little time.4 -
Found a little sewing basket (John Lewis) which looks like it's never been used, perfect size for what I want ( basically to stop losing my needle and thread) for £3.
Also got some crafty bits a hen night activity, which I spent about £6 on. Not sure how much they would have been but I suspect the little crafting twissor things probably cost that.12 -

Found few bargains over the last couple of weeks....til today's trip to Otley
George white linen/cotton mix shirt B/N 99p
M & S pale blue fuzzy sweater with long back 99p
Jaegar khaki & cream striped t-shirt 99p
La Strada linen shirt in clover shade 99p
Bellucci pale green flat shoes, leather B/N 99p
Unbranded brown leather gloves with fake fur lining B/N 99p
Fox & Chave pure silk man's tie with ditsy flowers on and in fancy packaging 99p (probs Easter gifty??)
All the above from the St Gemma's Hospice shop
Then in the 20p shop I got a pair of black River Island trousers with gold buttons at the bottom of the legs....someone had tried to press them and melted the fabric at the bottom of one leg so will be removing the gaudy buttons and turning them into 3/4 pants!!
Today's successes have given me back my chazza mojo12 -

P.S. Soz...forgot about this......I also picked up a cute little watering can for the indoor plants. Twas £1.99 in Oxfam and I thought it couldn't have cost much more new but I really liked it and knew it would be useful. Apparently it's from Ikea and I'm a bit shocked at the proper price.....!!
