Whose fault for insurance purposes?????? I DID LOOKED !!!!!!!!!!! PICTURE DIAGRAM PROVIDED

As others have said, pretty much 100% your fault. You don't just look right when turning onto a main road, you make sure your path is clear from every side before moving off.1

P3 said:I turn left into the main road, I looked right, no traffic, I moved off.
The car (opposite lane- main road) hit the side of my car when he try to get through as he had parked car on his side of the road.
Whose fault is it?
He blame me for turning into main road without checking my left side. But surely I don't need to.
Is it his fault not to recognise me turning left and assume opposite lane is clearly as he just see no oncoming traffic?
Is it straight 50/50 blame ????
That has to be the most unbelievable question I have ever seen on MSE.
Of course you need to look to see what might be in front of you when you turn into a road.
It is 100% your fault and you are very lucky you did not cause a worse accident and find yourself in a hospital or morgue or on a charge of causing death or injury by dangerous driving.
Have a very serious word or ten with yourself.A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".4 -
Did you buy your licence in a foreign country ?
Your logic sounds very much like that of my Thai wife "everyone should avoid me"0 -
Saw something very similar to this earlier this week. Car approaching junction, driver looks to right, nothing coming, without slowing emerges and turns left.
What he therefore missed was the bus stop on the other side of the road about 50m to his left and the van which was overtaking the bus and in his lane. Half a second time difference and it would have been a head on.

Agree with others posting, OP fault for not looking and causing the RTC.0
-
Let's assume I did look, and I didn't see a car coming(both lane), if he had hit me on MY lane and obstacle is on HIS SIDE, surely it is his fault.-1
-
You don't pull out until you are sure the main road is clear.
Full stop.0 -
I pulled out after looked both ways, the road was clear, he went through a gap which was non existent, he had parked car on his lane.
Full stop
Now whose fault is it.-1 -
So now you're saying you were already on the main road before he overtook the obstacle?

@P3.
You can keep creating new "what if" scenarios, however the answer to the question in the topic's title is YOU and all the other contributors seem to agree.
In your first post you admitted you pulled out without looking to the left, you surely DO need to do so despite the fact you seem to think it is not necessary.
This accident is entirely your fault !!!!!
