I've done some shopping and spending - a balance of £176.80 left for the month. I've bought the rescue cats their posh food and their brand downshift treats (from the Dream brand to Lid*s - the only downshift they will accept)
I've made a weekly meal plan design outline which has helped with planning for the month
sunday - roast or similar traditional lunch
monday - leftovers from Sunday
tuesday - meat free
wed - pasta or rice based
thurs - quick, easy and probably from the freezer
fri - something fishy
sat - fakeaway night (with wine 😋)
So this week is halloumi burger tomorrow and roasted veg pasta on Wednesday. For Thursday I found a bag of Bami goreng in the freezer which I'll supplement with extra veggies, Friday - fish cakes and chips and peas and roasted tomatoes, Saturday will be home made pizza - well that's the plan - just need to stick to it now5 -

Needed Clover and HB is best priced near me £2.25 for 1kg. Rather pay that than £3.40 in Tesco although their 500g tubs are club card priced at £1.30Grocery spends £193.44/ £70 per week or £303 per month5 -
NSD today. Went to my Mum’s for dinner - beef stew and dumplings 😋January grocery challenge £96.46/£1006

I have spent £21.47 on groceries, £28.72 on stores, £45.21 on subs and DD (I added to this and ordered water filters - 6 for £19 in this, plus kitchen paper and toilet rolls), plus £20.99 on treats and entertainment. We are not talking about pets. With a new pup, much has been spent and I predict laundry detergent may need to be bought in bigger quantities

NSD today. I will be making blackberry and apple crumbles which will fill up the space that I managed to make in the bottom drawer of the freezer. A nice way to do it though.

Hope the pup is doing well @Suffolk_lass i fondly remember our time with our spaniel pup and he looked like butter wouldn’t melt. His actions certainly portrayed a different picture 🤪Follow here for the daily life of an ADHD mum with 2 children and a new mortgage to pay

Overspent on a top up shop (£46.32) with more things for the freezer I don’t need right now and the veg/fruit box etc will be £26.05 this week.
Will be kind to myself and forgive myself. Nothing will be wasted, it will all be eaten, there is no big disaster. No one should be in tears at 9am due to extreme lack of sleep.
Hopefully it means absolutely nothing needs to be bought next week. That’ll be my challenge.Total spend £408.44 / £5752025 decluttering: 3,925🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅
