£15.34 spent at Mr T.Needed cat food, fabric conditioner, washing tablets, sour cream and bread.I need a few of the kids snacks that are on offer at Mr T, but I’ve checked to see when the offer runs out and i can buy next week when I get the increased staff discount (and can stretch out an extra week of not buying much 😉).

Hi, can I join please, our grocery budget is £100 per week and week 1 starts today - so it falls this month for me as 4 full weeks and 3 days so £443 for the month
.
I don't have much in the freezer at the minute, or much in the way of fresh food - so will start with an inventory, and a meal plan!8 -
joedenise said:Have been shopping today but a lot of it is from the bulk fund. Will need to tot up how much has come from the Grocery budget as it's definitely from January's money but today was the only day DH is around to help with the heavy stuff!8

Can't help with making text bigger. We can't add colours any more. For emojis I use https://emojipedia.org - just search for the emoji you want and then copy and paste it.

New Year not off to the best start,
had 2 parcels to return to Amaz0n, got lost on the estate where shop is, one of those where lots of islands and all look the same, had to use sat nav for 1/2 a mile, knew I was close, one of the parcels the QR code wouldn`t work, so have to take elsewhere, there was a greyhound walk planned on the beach, decided to torment myself and have a look, more people on the beach than the height of summer, every breed of dog present, couldn`t see the greyhounds, not a parking spot available either, so decided to pop to Morries while close for some fancy tonic water,
lost again,
another sat nav for just over a mile, Morries very quiet, just got 2 baking spuds, an orange and the tonics, so £5.30 spent and will enjoy my duck a l`orange with a gin and tonic.Do I need it or just want it.7 -
Happy new year from New York City everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful, fun, and safe holiday season so far. I’ll be here in NY until January 18 then will hop on the plane back to the UK. Mr. Jings will be heading back before me, on January 6th. Due to that dual country nature, I’m going to split my goals, please.
$100 for regular GC
I’m not going to bother asking Mr. Jings to keep track. Feh! If anything, I just asked him to buy any groceries out of the joint account so it’ll make it easier to track overall.
$150 for bulk America food I miss!
£100 for my time back in the UK.
Once again, a huge thank you to @elsiepac for running this thread and keeping up with our madness and switcheroos all year. And big thanks to everyone who keeps the conversation going.7 -
Happy New Year to everyone.Spend so far is £66.01/£550 with £483.99 left.Restocked the freezer midweek as Company Shop had a 50% off on their chilled section (including gammon steaks for 25p each, chicken fillets for 44p each, ribeye steaks for 75p each, cooked chicken pieces for 25p a pack). Picked up a few treat bits for DD1 to replace all the food gifts she was given and can't eat as they contain lactose.Think the local cows are either in isolation or taking time off for NY - it can't be people stripping the shelves in my local shops yesterday because they're closed for 24hrs right? 🤔 Ended up going further afield today to get milk and a few other fresh bits.
