Pure Planet to Shell Energy

Anybody else still waiting for Shell to give them an account number? They tell me there's a delay with the administrators who are dealing with Pure Planet.

  • I’ve got an account number now @apple267 , how about you? 
    Mine came through on Monday with instructions for setting up a Direct Debit and for submitting a meter reading.
    I’ve used the online account a couple of times but it seems hit and miss what I can access there. At the moment the only option in the menu is Logout! A couple of other times I’ve been able to see my account balance (still £0.00 with my Pure Planet credit balance still not transferred) and I’ve seen a usage graph too. The direct debit page did show a recommended increase to my agreed amount to cover my usage. As I have a balance of about £300 coming across from Pure Planet and they have no real history to my usage to go on I’ll leave it as it is for now and see how things settle down after a couple of months.

  • has anyone recieved the credit switch yet? Pure planet to Shell.

    I also have £300 of Credit with Pure planet, and shell have not received it yet. Pure planet were still DDing my funds after they went into administration, is this correct? 

    I could really do with that money. :(

    Shell Energy account partially up and running with account number - (21 Jan 2022).  However, credit transfer amount showing is incorrect.  Appears that Dec 21 / Jan 22 DD info not showing on the account as yet.  More worrying - One direct debit seems to have disappeared into a black hole. 

    Tariff details not available on account, Smart meter not up and running yet.

    Contact centre number is 0330 094 5800 for anyone who wants it.


  • My Pure Planet credit has now been transferred and added to my Shell account. With the first DD I’ve paid to Shell they’ve recommended that I reduce my DD to £90. I can’t find any up-to-date usage on the portal yet though, so I think I’ll stick with a higher DD for now and adjust if necessary.

    I was able to log in to my Shell account over the weekend and my carried-over credit shows there.
    There wasn't a bill/estimate yet when I looked.
  • hi, I've got an account number and can get online but my DD was cancelled last week by someone other than me and then Shell failed to take my DD in Jan. Called them and was told it was a technical issue?? and it should go out in Feb, they couldn't tell me how much would be taken in Feb and they could take both the Jan and Feb DD. 
    Very frustrating that I can't see the tariff details, so I can't work out what my payments should be. 
    Am keeping a very close eye on my account - both bank and Shell

    The tariff details are easy to find...
    Look for 'Flexible 6'

    Unfortunately whenever I click on that link, the site says they can't show me and advise me to call the contact centre

    Try entering a nearby post code rather than your own, see if that gets you there...
