Evening, apologies for my slower than desired responses. caring for 2 disabled kids is time consuming to say the least.

Good enough as a witness WS?

I see that costs can be claimed for witnesses also. Do i mention that in in my WS or does he mention it in his?

    Thanks again

    IN THE COUNTY COURT

    Claim No.: xxxxxxx Between

    (PREMIER PARK LIMITED)

    (Claimant)

    - and -

    Mr xxxx xxxxx

    (Defendant)

    WITNESS STATEMENT OF SUPPORTING WITNESS

    FOR COURT HEARING ON xx/xx/xxxx

    1.      I am Mr xxxxxx of xxxxxxxxxxx, I am a supporting witness for the claimant Mrxxxxx who I was with at the time (XXXXDATEXXXX) the event took place. The facts below are true to the best of my belief and my account has been prepared based upon my own knowledge.

    Sequence of events

    2.      Mrxxxxxx used the xxxxxxxx car park to park his vehicle so we could attend a sporting event.

    3.      The ticket machine refused to accept the first portion of MRxxxx’s car registration number multiple times, leaving us with the option of entering just the final 3 digits.

    4.      I can confirm that reasonable efforts were made my Mrxxxx and myself to input the full registration for Mrxxxx’s vehicle.

    5.      Sufficient payment was made for our stay at xxxxx carpark and the ticket with XXX on it (matching those of the vehicle parked) was clearly displayed on Mrxxxx vehicles dashboard.

    Statement of truth:

I believe that the facts stated in this Witness Statement are true. I understand that proceedings for contempt of court may be brought against anyone who makes, or causes to be made, a false statement in a document verified by a statement of truth without an honest belief in its truth.

    I don't think so. Source?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I think I'd add, in the section about the machine:

Even if the Claimant is able to show some other transactions made around the time with full VRMs input, on the balance of probabilities I contend this would have been people paying at another machine, or by app.

Those just need renumbering. They were from the original template and se were left intact.

Could someone please look over this for my supporting witness

    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1V_iVkUb-vQi051Mli3jLbVVe02IrOszu/view?usp=sharing

Is supporting witness even the correct term?

Does this go as a separate file or as part of my bundle? i would assume i add it to my bundle and add it as an exhibit?

    Thanks again all in advance.
